Just Li'l Enough!

Despite the slight stickiness, I still believe this is a great anal toy for first time users. The size is non-threatening, and the material is very safe and of high quality. The biggest drawback is that the shape of the toy is not conducive to wear-ability. This somewhat defeats the point of a plug, but I still see this toy as useful for warm up, and for just starting to explore anal play.

Use

This toy is great for beginners. I can attest to that, because this was my very first anal toy. I was afraid it would be intimidating, but when I got it, I found that I had no problems. I think that many more experienced users would find this toy to be inadequate, but I thought that it was a perfect size for a beginner. However, this toy really can't be used as intended, because it simply won't stay inserted for any substantial period of time.

Material / Texture

This toy is rather flexible, which I think makes it even better for beginners, as well as making it feel a little more realistic. It's a bit squishy, meaning that there won't be any uncomfortable poking. I got this particular plug because it was made of silicone. I wanted something made of a really safe and nonporous material, which is of course, what silicone is great for. My only complaint about this toy is that it did have an extremely light, almost chemically odor, and it is slightly sticky. It wasn't enough to make me hate the toy, but it did cause me a bit of concern.

Design / Shape / Size

The shape of this toy is great for being safe for anal use, what with the flared base. Some people (myself included) might have a hard time keeping it in, but for a beginner, I don't think you can beat the size. It is just slightly thicker than my middle finger, and just slightly longer, so about 4 inches long and 3 inches around at the thickest point. If wearing this toy for while was your intention (which it likely was, since this is a plug), I don't think it will be possible for most people. The size of the toy, along with the shape just doesn't allow for it.

This toy is not discreet at all. Anyone familiar with sex toys will know exactly what it is, so if that is a concern, I would keep this one tucked away. As far as travel goes, the toy is small enough to travel easily, but it doesn't come with any kind of bag or case, and it would need one since it attracts lint.

Performance

The greatest thing about this toy is the size, and quality of material. For a beginner looking for something safe and reasonably sized, it is perfect. The only thing I just really did not like was the small amount of stickiness I noticed. Once I had lube on the toy, it really wasn't noticeable though. The stickiness doesn't create any drag, once lube has been applied, which is helpful for beginners to anal play. Additionally, the fact that the toy just doesn't want to stay in rather defeats the purpose of a plug.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is crazy easy to take care of, because it is made of silicone. Due to the nature of this toy, cleanliness was very important to me. I was a bit concerned when I noticed the slight odor on the toy, but it did pass a flame test without any alarming results. It can be sterilized by boiling, washing with soap and water, or popping it into the top rack of a dishwasher. I used water based lube, and in my opinion, water based performs the best with silicone. If you do want to use a different lube, I would suggest doing a spot test first, just to make sure there won't be any funky reactions.

Packaging

The packaging for this toy is not discreet at all. The packaging is not meant as storage. It is just plastic packing, nothing really durable. There were some instructions on the back, but nothing very detailed.

Experience

I found this toy to be very comfortable... when I could get it to stay put. It does like to slide out, just because of the size and shape if the toy. For some, this might be a deal breaker, since, after all, plugs are meant to be worn for extended periods of time. It didn't bother me so much, even if I did find it annoying to have to keep reinserting. I think this toy was a great stepping stone for me to get comfortable with anal play, and helping me build up the confidence to be able to handle a larger, more well designed plug.

The odor worries me, pure silicone shouldn't have any scent. I have to wonder then if this is 100% pure silicone as they claim it is. If it is, then this seems to solidify the rumor I've heard that even in silicone toys, Doc Johnson adds in their "signature scent".

Since I trust Tantus a lot more than I trust Doc Johnson, I think I'd recommend the Silk Small (although not a plug) or for plugs the Little Flirt or Slim (LF seems like it might stay inserted better than Slim which, like the Lil End, doesn't have enough difference between the neck and body for it to stay put - need to have something that is bigger than the sphincter opening)

Thanks for the review. I'll pass because it has a "chemical scent" which isn't natural for silicone.
