Use

This was one of my first Tantus butt plugs and I wasn't disappointed. Based on my past experience with anal toys, I decide to go with the medium. Turns out this was the perfect choice for me. It wasn't too big and definitely not too small!

Material / Texture

This is one of the smooth textured Tantus silicone butt plugs which makes it very easy to use and clean. As with any of my other butt plugs, no matter the material, I always use a water based lubricant for insertion. This plug feels firm yet a little forgiving as it goes in, unlike the Phallix plug I own. No give in those!

Design / Shape / Size

I especially like the design of this plug with the two different sized bulges. For someone who isn't sure if they can handle this plug, the graduated steps will make it easier for you to work up to it. According to Tantus website, the Severin Medium is 1.85" in diameter and 4.55" in length. That would be the size of the largest bulge on this plug. I believe the smaller bulge is approx. 1.25" in diameter.

Performance

The best feature of this plug is the base, which is soft enough to wear for extended use, and still not have to worry about it going in too far. I suppose if you got too aggressive, you might be able to push it in past the base, but hopefully that would not be the case.

Care and Maintenance

As Tantus promotes with their products, this is both dishwasher safe and boilable should you feel the need to go that far. I prefer to wash it with a mild soap and water solution followed with my PJUR Med Clean solution. So far this seems to be good enough.

Personal comments

I am always looking for a plug I can wear for an extended period of time and this one fits the bill. I kept it in for about four hours the other day, which included my workout at the gym, and didn't have any problems once I was able to relax!

The only thing you might add next time is the actual sizes (insertable length, circumference and diameter.)

I'm just getting into the world of butt plugs and anal play. I tried an anal training kit that did no training at all, so I'm now looking for something else that would be good for a beginner. Any suggestions?Winking
