Less gloomy with Bloomy
This dildo is shaped unlike any other I've ever seen. Fun Factory's creativity and attention to detail when creating this toy make it worthy of a spot in the toy box or nightstand of beginners and seasoned veterans alike.Published: March 26, 2009
Pros:
G-spot curve, shaped for clitoral stimulation, can accommodate a vibrator.
Cons:
Some may find it too small.
Forget the Rock Chick. Forget the G Rock. Forget the Snugglepuss and every rabbit vibrator you've ever owned.
This is it.
Fun Factory really outdid themselves with Bloomy, a silicone toy designed primarily as a prostate massager or anal plug. I did not try Bloomy in this way, but rather used vaginally.
Bloomy is made out of plush, flexible 100% silicone and comes in pink or black. It is modest in both length and girth, at about 1 3/8" thick and 4 1/4" insertable. What it lacks in size, however, it makes up in overall design. The insertable portion of this dildo is gently curved for G-spot stimulation, while the "stem" rests nicely against the clit and labia. If used as a normal dildo, the loop makes a nice handle to use for thrusting.
One of the best features of this dildo, however, is its versatility. Not only can it be used as a standard dildo, it can also be tweaked into a hands-free vibrator dual-stimulation vibrator. Let me repeat that in case you missed it. This amazing, g-spot targeting silicone sex toy can be turned into a hands-free vibrator. Wow.
To do this, I slipped a thicker bullet through the loop of Bloomy, which in turn transmitted the vibrations internally and to my clit. The vibrations did seem to be somewhat stronger in the insertable part, though I would have preferred them stronger externally, but I still found the toy to be very pleasurable.
Cleanup of this toy is very simple. It can be cleaned with warm soap and water, boiled, cleaned with a 10% bleach solution or toy cleaner, or put in the dishwasher (top rack, no soap). It is important to note, however, that Bloomy should be used only with water-based lubricants due to its silicone construction. Luckily, Fun Factory includes a sample of their high quality water-based lube, Toyfluid.
In all, I'd rate Bloomy at 5 stars for its innovative design and construction. It will for sure be an often-enjoyed luxury.

Thank you for viewing Bloomy – prostate massager review page!

It's a shame you didn't try it anally, I would have loved to have heard your thoughts on it used that way!
Me too. I like that the bullet works works to turn this into a vibrator - and it's so cute!
I lust after this thing!
I'm sorry. I just don't enjoy anal stimulation. You should check out Average Joe's review of this toy, though. He did try it anally.
You didn't try is anally? I am shocked. I mean were you looking for a vaginal toy and just liked the look of this?
Something like that. I read Average Joe's review of it as an anal toy and wondered how it would work vaginally.
Isn't it great?
Nice to see an strong endorsement for g-spot rather than p-spot satisfaction.
Maybe slap a condom on it, and let us know it you find it as endearing elsewhere.
Playful, I support you in not using this anally. Some of us just aren't sturdy enough back there for anal play.
Snappy--
It's fantastic! Do you own it too?
Thanks Tuesday, I appreciate your support. I agree--I'm one of them. I hope it doesn't take too much away from my review of this toy.
Did you notice if the ridges did anything to add to or take away from the feel of the toy? Also, how dense is the silicone? Is is very firm or somewhat on the softer side?
TT--
I didn't find the ridges to make much of a difference either way except for during insertion, and I found that the ridges did improve upon. I suppose if you thrusted to the point where you were pulling the toy out past the ridges, I suppose it could add to the toy as well. But once the toy was fully inserted, I couldn't really discern much of a difference. The density of the silicone is in-between, I guess. It's not rigid, but it's not squishy either. It does have some give, though. I guess it would be somewhat on the softer side. Hope that helps!
Nice review
Mmmmm - I want this!!! Good review.
And the design of this toy is just gorgeous, hey?
