Light-Up Butt Toy!

This is a cute little probe. Beginner-type items sometimes work just fine for me, while other times, they're a disappointment. This one is definitely a BEGINNER item, so if you've ever done any anal play before, you'll want to move on to something else.

Use

The intent of this toy is for anal stimulation. It has a flared base that prevents it being lost in an orifice, making it perfect for anal use. If desired, it can also be used externally, or vaginally, as it is well angled for G-Spot stimulation. Just make sure to use a condom or sanitize it if you'll be switching orifices!

This would be an ideal item to use in preparation for a night with a partner, or before play with larger toys, to help the anus adapt to penetration. I find that anal sex works far better for me when my partner is patient enough to use a toy on me for a while and loosen me up a bit first, and this is a perfect size for that.

While the lavender color might indicate that it's a more female-oriented item, there is no reason why men can't use this for P-spot stimulation, if they so wish. The size is non-intimidating to toy beginners and anal beginners alike.

This is waterproof, so feel free to take it into the shower or tub with you. I would be hesitant to submerse it for an extended period of time, as the push button feels iffy as to its water-tight qualities, but there is an O-ring below the threads for the cap to screw on, so that keeps water out of the battery compartment.

If you are concerned with being overheard, this is not the ideal vibrator for you, as it is rather loud. You can just hear it on the other side of my door while it's closed with my air conditioner going full blast. So, if you have thin walls and not much white noise, you may want to look elsewhere.

While the size makes this travel-friendly and easy to slip into a suitcase or purse, the obvious sex toy appearance and volume may be a dead give-away, and those who are concerned, may want to choose a more discreet-looking item.

You could also use this as a make-shift flashlight if needed, as the tip does light up in a pretty rainbow of colors.

Material / Texture

This is made from translucent ABS plastic, which, while not flexible, does have its benefits. Jelly and silicone tend to be somewhat sticky and attract debris, while plastic does not, making it a bit easier to keep clean. Plastic has no odd smell, a common problem with jelly items. It's unlikely that this will go in the mouth, but there is no taste to it, if it should wind up there.

This is a silky-smooth plastic, with minimal drag on the skin. A small amount of lube will go a long way, though more never hurts. While the seam between the two pieces of plastic is extremely visible, it's barely detectable to the touch, and is not irritating in use.

Design / Shape / Size

This is a pretty basic anal toy, shaped like a slightly curved lower-case "t" so that it fits the contours of the body and cannot be fully inserted, as the arms of the "t" provide enough difference in size that you would have to really try if you want to get it in. The light-up tip is kinda fun, so there is a bit of a novelty effect to it.

It's worth noting that this is *really small*. I'm not the best at estimating things, but I really expected it to be bigger. There is just under 3 1/2" of insertable length, and the diameter is right at 3/4". The ball at the bottom of the shaft is 7/8", so while it's a bit larger than the rest of the shaft, it's not by much. The arms of the "t" are about 2 1/4" in width, plenty of room to keep it from slipping inside you.

From the bottom of the arms to the end of the toy is about an inch, which does not leave you much room to grab onto the toy if you're going to thrust with it. I found it nearly impossible to use thusly on myself, and when I hold it as if using on a partner, I cannot find a comfortable way to do so without holding most of the toy.

This is pretty well-sized if you're looking at an introduction to anal play and have never tried before, as the insertable portion of the toy is about the same size as my index finger - and I have small hands! - so if you or your partner are hesitant, but willing to try, this is a good size to use for that purpose. If you're more familiar with anal play, this might be a cute addition to your preparation for a larger toy, but it's probably not going to be the main event.

The small dimensions definitely make this easy to hide, but it's pretty obvious from the design that it's a sex toy, and pretty clear that it's meant for the butt, so if you're concerned about someone seeing it, you'll want to look elsewhere.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations are located near the tip, where you can see that the motor is located. Due to the size, they do travel pretty well throughout the entire thing, which is pretty typical in smaller items like this.

The controls are theoretically simple - push the button on the bottom to turn on, and again when you're done to turn off. I will admit that mine may be an exception rather than the rule, but it is a bit of work trying to get it to actually turn on and stay on, and pressing the button repeatedly with the required force hurts my thumbs. Once you get it going, it sometimes turns on well, while other times, it's just as much work getting it to turn off as it is turning it on.

When I turned it on and tested it on my hand, it felt pretty powerful for its size. When I inserted it, however, I barely felt the vibrations, even when manipulating it to press against different spots. The included batteries died pretty quickly, so that was also less than impressive.

I did not test it in water because I didn't trust the area around the button - if you push the button to the side, there's a gap between it and the cap, and water could leak in through there and cause problems. The cap does close very securely with a good O-ring, so it should theoretically perform well in the water if you choose.

If Nasstoys were to ask me what to improve about this, I would recommend making it with a longer handle and having it run on something more powerful than watch batteries. I've had many a pocket rocket that blew me away from one AA, and the added length it would take to put one in would give you a better handle, so that it's not so incredibly awkward to hold.

Care and Maintenance

This is pretty easy to take care of - wash it with soap and water, or toy cleaner, if you so prefer. The straightforward shape makes clean-up very simple and quick. Store it somewhere where it won't get scratched up.

Plastic is compatible with any kind of lubricant that you could care to use, so grab your favorite, slick it up, and stick it in!

Packaging

This comes in a cardboard box with the product image and name on it, which is not discreet at all if you're concerned. It is a nice shape and size for wrapping, if you choose to do so. There is minimal information on use or care on the box - an arrow points out the push button, and the packaging points out that it's waterproof. There is no insert for further information.

Upon opening the box, you have two plastic pieces cradling the toy and the included batteries, which have their own cute little crevice. You can use the packaging for storage if you wish, and while there's no indication as to whether it's recyclable, the box alone should be.

Personal comments

I got this in the hopes that I could use it vaginally, as I have difficulty and pain with some larger toys. When it proved to be too small for that, I tried it anally, and was equally disappointed.

It's too bad it was a bust, but the manufacturers should definitely take your recommendation of a better battery and longer length into account! Thanks for the review!
