When Sigel and I finally got around to anal exploration, after many years of stop and start playing, we decided fairy quickly that we liked vibrating anal toys best of all. So we looked around for some toys we could share that also vibrate. We both liked the look of the Lollipoppers Smooth Anal plug from Doc Johnson.

On the site the Lollipopper looks like a cute little vibe and we were a bit concerned that the end might not be flared enough. Imagine our surprise when we got the toy and realized we should have looked at the measurements just a little bit closer! Folks, this isn't the largest toy in the anal toy world but it is definitely not a beginner toy. In total the toy measures a little over 7 inches with about 4 inches being insertable. The problem we had, being anal newbies, was with the girth of this toy. At its largest point it measures 5 inches around! Now I LOVE me a girthy vibe but my ass is not convinced! Sigel took one look at it and said "NO WAY!" So it wasn't exactly a hit right off the bat. Once I got over the size of this toy I got curious and the first thing I noticed was the smell. It has a cinnamon spicy smell that I find appealing. The smell isn't overpowering, won't bleed off on your skin and it covers the rubbery smell of TPR completely.

The toy takes 2AAA batteries that slide easily in the battery casing. The battery casing is located under the handle of the toy which screws off fairly easily but not easy enough that it falls off with the slightest nudge. I love the design of the handle because it affords so much room for the user to hold the toy comfortably and safely. The ring on the end of the toy is big enough to fit any size finger making it nice for couples play.

The vibrations are controlled via the handle which is a twist dial allowing the user to customize the strength of the vibration. The handle is fairly stiff so that it won't change speeds easily during use even with thrusting. The vibrations are on the higher end of medium and start at a vigorous but surface and buzzy pace. I have found that even my medium-sensitive clit is happy with the lower speeds and the middle speeds are great for relaxing and stimulating my anal nerves. At higher speeds this caused my clit to hum happily without 'burning' or going numb but it was a close call. Although, this isn't a deep and rumbly vibe I found that for anal play the more surface and buzzy vibrations are easier to feel and actually feel more pleasant to me.

The vibrations do travel throughout the toy but are most closely concentrated in the tip of the toy. The flare at the base of the toy measures 2 inches across and is very firm. I am confident that it will prevent the average ass from munching the toy up completely as there is a great tuck in area where the ass can rest after being well filled with the body of the toy.

The Lollipopper starts fairly small and gradually widens to the full five inches before curving inward again to the flared base. This is great for me since I am still teaching my sensitive and scared ass to relax and enjoy the sensations. The lack of texture aids me in this, for now and means that the lube gets smoothly to the areas it needs to be in. Now, I require lots of warm up and the proper frame of mind so I have to be patient and plan to spend the time it takes. I urge my reader's to do the same.

Warm water and mild soap is all you really need to keep the toy in good working order. You could use a commercial cleaner or wipes but you will still want to wash it between uses. It picks up lint fairly easily so a quick rinse before use is recommended.

If you plan to share the toy or use it both vaginally and anally then a condom is really a must for safety.

Just about any lube is compatible with TPR but a spot test in an inconspicuous area will make doubly sure your favorite brand won't mar the finish of this toy. I store the toy in a hand made box but a toy pouch will work just fine. If you don't end up tearing up the clamshell it comes in, like I did, you could also store it in there.
