The Pure Wand is a beautiful stainless steel vaginal or anal toy. It has a totally unique shape that looks a lot like a navel ring, only super sized. This might not be the best toy for a first time toy user due of the weight, unyielding material, and learning curve.
This wand is nearly a semicircle. It's large, and it weighs just over a pound and a half, most of the weight being in the larger end. It's 7 7/8 inches straight across from one bulbous head to the other. Measuring around the curve, it's a total of 11 inches long. The smaller end has a diameter of 1 inch, the larger end is 1 1/2 inches.
It took me a few minutes to get the hang of this toy. I have the Bent graduate and it gives me quick and easy g-spot orgasms. The only problem with the Bent graduate is the "head" of the toy is just slightly cone shaped at the top, and it can be a little pokey from time to time, especially during partner play. The Pure Wand is completely round on both heads, so there is no more poking.
For me, I have had better luck with the small end inserted. I then wrap my hand around and just under the larger end. I had a hard time figuring out the best way to hold the Pure Wand. Balancing the weight and getting a good angle is the key to success with this toy. When I first started using it I had a tendency to hold the curve close to my body, therefore the internal curve was less pronounced. To successfully reach my g-spot I have to almost wrap the toy around my pelvic bone. So, if I hold the larger end down a bit lower, the toy curves up a bit more, allowing me to reach my g-spot much easier.
The Pure Wand comes beautifully packaged. It comes in a black box with the company name (Njoy) written is silver across the top. The top lifts up and has a hinge on one side, so the top is attached to the box. The toy is beautifully snugged in a shiny hot pink satin. There is firm Styrofoam under the satin to keep the wand in place. I just love the color combination with the black, hot pink and steel.
Being made of stainless steel, it's totally non porous and easy to care for. The Pure wand is boilable, bleachable or can be popped in the dishwasher to sterilize. You can also wash with antibacterial soap or toy cleaner and rinse with warm water.
Feel free to use any of your favorite lubes with this toy. But a little goes a long way, as this toy tends to get a little slippery.

Experience
I find that the Pure Wand is not much of a thrusting toy. I generally start with the larger end and maybe do a little bit of gentle thrusting around my g-spot and then switch to the smaller end to really get the party started.
I think this will be a great toy for partner play as well. I have no problem with my partner using metal or glass toys on me, but you do have to be careful with such a hard materials not to hurt your partner. I have been unable to use this toy with my partner because he is currently overseas.. so I guess we'll see in about 6 months of so.

Will the Pure Wand REALLY make me squirt?

I've been eyeing this toy for a very, VERY long time.
I've read many reviews saying that it will make you squirt, even if you haven't squirted ever before in your life (which I don't think I have).
Would it REALLY make me squirt? That's the whole reason I want it!
Would it be worth it to make the purchase? -
Like you, I read that it works for a lot of people, so I bought it based on the good reviews. It hasn't really done much for me though. I was actually kind of disappointed with it in general. Hopefully, I'm in the minority.

It hasn't done it for me yet - but I believe I've come the closest with my Pure Wand.
I just need to learn to relax and take my time.
Even though I haven't squirted yet, I love it!

The Pfun is the easiest to use, and feels great. I would caution against this being a first time toy though. It is hard and can easily cause some pain if you do not know your rectum.
The Pure Wand has a BIG learning curve but the small end is good if you are just starting out.
The Eleven, well, lets just say it is for the very experienced. It is large and will take charge.
The Pure Plugs look really good and always get great reviews. Those come in small, medium, large and the 2.0 which is like extra large.
Something to think about, Stainless is hard. As such great care needs to be used when using these toys. Yes, they can be fun and very stimulating but they can bruise very easily. I would not recommend them for a beginner.

We have the PFun and the Pure Wand. My husband really likes the PFun; his only complaint being, it comes out during sex, as well as orgasm. He also loves to use the Wand on me, and I do so enjoy that. I prefer the Pure Wand (both ends) for anal play over vaginal play, but I have never been all that crazy about G-Spotting anyway.
Stainless is unforgiving. It can hurt, as Tim stated above, if you are over-eager. Do use caution and play gently until you get used to them.
We love the heat retention steel provides and their weightiness. There is something about not only feeling full, but heavy too. Anyway, we also like that we don't have to reapply lube very often because they are really slick all on their own.
We are hoping to purchase the Large plug soon. (We are on the fence about if we should get the large or the 2.0) ***Edited 2 hours later...bought the nJoy large plug tonight!***
The Eleven is certainly on my wishlist, and will be mine one day...when I have enough points (if I would stop spending them, it would be easier!)

Is it just me or are other people confused as to why the Pure Wand is classified as an anal toy? Everything I hear about it being good for g-spot and p-spot stimulation, but why does that make it an anal toy?
I think classifying it as an anal toy might turn off some folks that don't like anal toys.
Anyone else ever notice that? -
I think it was originally designed for men and us ladies fell in love with it. I use it for both anal and g-spot but I do tend to refer to it as a dildo though. I actually passed it up originally but then bought it on a whim. Best purchase I ever made. Hopefully people will look beyond any classification and read the reviews on it.

No confusion here. Most p-spot toys work well as g-spot toys and vice versa. I personally love it for anal, more than vaginal usage. If you read the first sentence of the description it clearly states it is for both. My only wish is that EF would list it in both categories.

Temperature Play...

I've never really done temperature play with steel... To all of you who have more experience with this, how long does it retain its coldness once you start playing with it?
Do you generally keep cold water/a freezer (!) nearby to cool it down periodically?
Any other advice? -
only tried in once, I left it in for 20 minutes, could have been colder though and I only put it in once, but i would recomend keeping a cooler near by if you want to keep going with it cold.

I'd suggest a bowl of ice water, or the cooler can work too. I don't have much experience with playing with cold with a steel toy, but a bowl of ice water will definitely be able to chill your toy back down as often as you want it to. :)

Is there a reason that some toys have the 1:1 ratios sized images and others don't?
I'm trying to compare the pure wand with the Eleven and whilst there is a full sized image available for the eleven it doesn't appear that there is one for the fun wand.

The reviews for the Pure Wand are overwhelmly positive. It sounds like almost everyone can climax with it. I'm wondering if there are women who don't usually climax with vaginal sex who can climax with the Pure Wand inside them? I have one metal toy at this point, and that's a Betty's Barbell, which I love. It doesn't have a curve in it however, so I was wondering whether there would be any benefit to the curve in the Pure Wand. From your review, I'm thinking that it does, as long as one has the patience to learn how to "drive" the thing. (I really like the way you point out in your reviews whether or not a toy is good for thrusting.) Thanks.
