The Risque is intended to be a vibrating butt plug, and I would say that this is the best use for it. However, it has nice strong vibrations throughout, so you could use it to tease other body parts besides your ass. The vibrator can be a little difficult to get in position, and has some other frustrating qualities, so I would not advise it as a first butt plug or anal toy. It has a three inch insertable length, which I don't think is too intimidating.

The butt plug can be used alone or in combination with vaginal penetration, which I find really fun. It is also great to have in while you are receiving a spanking or a beating. Another use which I find very rewarding is to have it in while my same-sex partner thrusts and grinds on my ass.

There is really no reason you couldn't travel with this toy, as it is fairly small and would fit easily into an overnight bag. However, I would definitely remove the batteries first, as it could easily be turned on accidentally.

This toy is made out of plastic/TPR according to the EdenFantasys page. It is very smooth to the touch and has a wonderful satiny texture. I did not notice any smell or taste whatsoever from it. I have it in pink, and it is a bright, fun pink identical to the photograph.

The design of the Risque is problematic. It takes a little effort to get the plug in place, but you are rewarded by a pleasantly full sensation without the strain of a larger toy. The base of the Risque is fairly large, which can be reassuring, but also can be a bit uncomfortable. You will likely feel the base jabbing your ass on either side. One of the huge problems I have had with this toy is that for some reason it is very difficult to keep in place. In my experience you either need to hold it in place, be sitting directly on it, or duct tape it in place with several pieces of duct tape. This can be frustrating as the sensations from the vibrations are very pleasurable, and it's no fun when it suddenly pops out.

There are ten different settings on the Risque, so it has something for everyone. Whether you want strong steady vibrations, slow teasing ones, or a frustrating on-off pulse, you will find a setting to suit you. You can change the setting with the button on the bottom of the toy. This means you have to click through to get to the setting you want, which can be annoying, and the location of the button means that it is very easily jarred. You turn the toy off by holding the button down, which is convenient.

The vibrations are noisy, of course, but not exceptionally so. You can hear it in the bed, certainly, but definitely not in the next room.

The Risque claims to be waterproof, however in my experience the battery hatch will pop off very easily, so I would honestly not bring it anywhere near water.

The toy is TPR, which means it is somewhat porous. Obviously since it is an anal toy, this is something of an issue. I usually just stick a condom on it before play, and you should definitely do so if you are sharing this toy. Afterwards, I wash it with soap and warm water to remove any lube that might have gotten on it. You can use water-based or silicone-based lube with this toy. I store the toy in the box with a bunch of other toys and playthings, and thus far have not had any issues.

This toy came in a clear plastic box which was in no way discreet. From the name and shape of the object you can definitely tell what it's for. The box was unaesthetic but easy to open; I have since discarded it as it would not be especially useful for storage.

I have a love-hate relationship with this toy. It feels so good when I use it. I love the different vibrations and the way it feels inside me, especially during other play activities. However, it is incredibly frustrating how easily the toy comes out. The first few times I used it I thought that I would probably not continue to do so because it was so annoying. However, the vibrations were addictively pleasurable and I keep coming back to the toy. You just have to make sure you are using it in a position that will keep it in place.
