Love pacifier advanced sex toy review
This is a great anal plug for solo play but I wouldn’t suggest it for couples play because of the large handle that could irritate a mans thighs or balls. Great quality, very hygienic and easy care.Published: March 29, 2008
Pros:
Silicone, shape
Cons:
base
The Love Pacifier Plug is the must have toy for single play. The unique shape of the love pacifier is shared with the njoy plugs but it is made of silicone which is at a more affordable price. It looks to me like a sweet lollipop for my ass. It always is a treat to use it.
This toy is 1 in 1/2, which is a decent width for a butt plug more for an intermediate rather than a beginner. This toy is made of a rather very rigid silicone and for a beginner working his/her way up it will take some working in since it has no give. The texture is shiny and smooth and once it’s well lubed up it should slip in easily for more experienced anal players.
This is my second choice of anal butt plug when I want to spend some alone time with myself. I take my time slipping it in, once it’s in it places itself to form with the body. It always angles itself to point upwards towards my stomach. I caress my clit with my bullet while with my left hand I swivel the handle of the love pacifier from side to side with my index and major. It stimulates my nerve endings so well at the opening that I can come from this plug alone.
The only drawback of this toy is the shape of the handle. I have never used it during intercourse because the handle is really protruding and there is a seam in the handle. I don’t want it to be uncomfortable for my partner at all cost so we haven’t used it for partner play. The bulb fits so well inside me that I could wear this toy a whole day long but the handle is too bulky underclothing to even consider taking the chance to wear it in public. I have read somewhere that it is possible to cut the handle to solve this problem but I would be too afraid to have it slip all the way in.
Clean up is always a breeze. I regularly sterilize it by boiling it for 3 minutes but it can be just as easily cleaned with sex toy cleaner. Overall, this is a great quality toy at a cheap price but if you mind for the bulky handle you might rather enjoy the njoy plugs instead.

Follow-up commentary

I think that I have set my mind so much on finding a plug that was efficient, for preparing for anal sex, that some of my anal toys are being ignored. Although, I should be extracting so much pleasure from using them. I still really enjoy this plug, but I am looking for a different kind of sensation now.

Thoughts on how to get rid of that seam?
-
I know the seam is a bother for some people who have this, so I was trying to think of a way to fix it. Sanding it, even if you sand it with a very fine grit, would leave scratches, which could gather bacteria... So I'm stumped. Maybe melting it slightly at the seam and smoothing it down while still hot? I'm not sure how silicone reacts to that.
I guess you could also take a straight edge razor to it and shave it off.
If anyone else has suggestions, that would be awesome :) -
If it's pure silicone it will not melt with fire.

Ah the dreaded seam. :@
I always start by trying to grab it and pull it off depending on how big it is. My Ridge Rider had a bunch around the ridges that easily pulled right off.
The only thing I have found to work is a brand new razor blade (Scalpel is better) and a careful hand. Problem is it is to easy to cut into the rest of the toy. The seam will try and fold over requiring more pressure. Once it does start to cut, you have gone to far. :(
If you have a Dremel with a small sanding attachment that may work a bit better than sandpaper. But like you say it will leave scratches that could be worse than the seam. Thankfully silicone is non porous throughout so you would just need to make sure to clean those areas good. A old toothbrush works great.
Fire from a lighter typically will not melt it. Even if it did it may leave it hard and probably rough.
You really have to decide if the seam is a bother or if you can live with it. In the case of the Pacifier, I can not feel it during use so I left it alone.

I wouldn't recommend boiling this as it's TPR silicone not pure silicone.
