Suggested Use

The Pleasure Plug 2 is a modest sized butt plug with a gentle taper which makes it great for beginner to intermediate play. It also has a well-designed neck and flared base to enable it to sit in place without the threat of it going in too far and being lost in your bootie. It is perfect for those new to anal play or to use as a warm up to larger toys.


Packaging

Many of the toys we have purchased recently have arrived in really fancy velvet-lined gift boxes, which is really nice but not something we have any use for, so I was really pleased with the simplicity of Happy Valley’s packaging. I found it to be one of the most environmentally friendly packaging I’ve seen for toys. It was simply a plastic bag closed with a paper cardstock tag. The downside to this is that anyone who sees the package will know exactly what it is. There were no instructions included, but it’s a butt plug…do you really need instructions?


Material/Texture

Made of in Canada of 100% non-porous silicone, it is phthalate-free and hypoallergenic, which makes it a suitable choice for those with latex allergies. The Pleasure Plug 2 is smooth with no texture. There is no discernible odor or taste. This was my first Happy Valley toy, and I found the density of the silicone to be comparable to that of Vixen Creations’ branded toys. The silicone is squeezeably soft, yet firm enough to maintain its shape and perform its intended butt-pleasin' functions.


Design/Shape/Size

The Pleasure Plug 2 is nicely tapered for easy insertion for all but the very tightest of hiney holes. It measures 4 ½” long with a circumference of 4”. The 1 ¼” diameter is a great size for most beginners, but may be a bit on the small side for more advanced butt players. The contoured neck and narrow base allow it to sit comfortably between the cheeks. The contoured shape makes it pretty easy to retain during most activities; however, it may eject during climax or in certain positions.

Happy Valley also makes the Pleasure #1, which is a smaller version designed for those with tighter sphincter limitations.


Care and Maintenance

As with any silicone toy, you should use only water based lubricant with this toy as silicone lubricants may react and damage the plug. Silicone is easy to clean. Happy Valley recommends simply cleaning with warm water and soap. You can also boil your toy or wash with a 10% bleach solution for more thorough cleaning, which I highly recommend if you are going to be sharing the Pleasure Plug 2.

I am not new to butt plugs; in fact, I have quite a collection. I am happy to report that my new orange friend fits in nicely with the rest of my collection. The best feature is the extremely easy entry. This plug is great for warming up to something larger or for simply being able to insert spontaneously with very little preparation during intercourse or solo play. For me, the plug did not stimulate my prostrate; however, I do greatly enjoy having something that I can clench during all sexual activities, especially during climax. The Pleasure Plug is great for morning quickies. Or afternoon quickies. Or bedtime quickies. Yeah…it’s great for quickies! I liked this toy.

My wife has only recently warmed up to the idea of butt play and is always a bit nervous about inserting anything in her anus. This plug was small and non-intimidating, which was perfect for her. The small tapered end made for easy insertion, and she found it to be quite comfortable. Her only complaint was that it slipped out during climax. She found that having the plug inserted during PIV intercourse enhanced her pleasure and intensified her orgasms. I also appreciate how it makes everything feel even tighter down there when she has it inserted.

We both agree this is a high quality, well designed toy. I highly recommend it for those who are curious or new to anal play.
