Considering how many great times we've had with this toy, it was definitely worth the purchase. It has added a new level to our sexual relationship. For a beginner, it was a great investment. I promptly ordered it and waited for the arrival.
The vibrating probe is not intimidating at all. It has a very smooth, almost velvety feel to it. It is also very rigid, no give at all, which did worry me a bit and it is slightly angeled. I put in the batteries (2AA) and thought that this was definitely a good choice. The probe just seemed to have the perfect amount of size, width, and vibration for the timid Anica.
The beads, I was excited for. Four little beautiful balls dangling between knots on a thin, see-through plastic thread. After a bit of finger-play, we were ready to try it out.
At the time, we only had your grocery store variety of lube, so that's what we used, initially. We took it slow, with lots of lube, and before I knew it, the beads were inserted. I liked the feeling of being full, but didn't really enjoy them coming out. I found that the knot to keep the balls separated pinched a little.
So, we moved onto the probe. With another gallon or so of lube (just teasing, but a lot because we were trying to be careful), the probe was fully inserted, vibrating away. Getting the probe inserted was pretty easy, the rigidness of the probe helped there a lot. The noise was not very loud, you could still hear it, it was close to the level of noise my phone makes when it's on vibrate. I was full of sensations I never could have imagined and was enjoying myself quite a bit. After some additional foreplay for my husband, he entered my vagina and we both gasped at the sensation. For him, the vibration, for me, being completely full. I think I'd rank that orgasm in the top 5 on my list!
Clean up was a breeze, thankfully! The toy is made of plastic, so it's quite easy to clean and non-porous too. The controller is easy to use. The probe has had a lot of use since then, the beads have not since I wasn't a fan of the pinching. Experience
After our initial use of the toy, we've used it a lot, specifically when my husband ties me up. I'm glad I made the choice to give anal play a try because I do really enjoy it.

It's a great intro to anal, it's not very intimidating but provides great stimulation. Because it is on the smaller side of things (about the length/with of a mans pointer or middle finger) I would suggest getting something a bit bigger as an in between step before actual anal sex. But this is a great first step to see if they like the stimulation back there. I would go for it.

Have they even had a finger up their ass or have they not had anything at all? I would look for one of the plug kits that ranges in sizes from as small as a finger to almost as large as a cock.

I bought quite a few kits when I first started my anal adventures because I was a little nervous and I didn't know what would work and what wouldn't. Thankfully my husband (boyfriend at the time) helped purchase them all... I would have been broke!

Pinching from the knots? Bad idea. Is it just string which connects those beads? If so, that does not seem very sanitary and it might be a good idea if you don't use them again.

Yes, it is just the string that attaches the balls, they move between the knots. The end of the string is a blue ring, and the last ball stays put...not sure how. I pulled and pulled to see if it could come off and wouldn't. And you are right, thinking back, the cleaning up afterward with the knots seemed a bit unsanitary. I wish I could post a close up picture of the actual knots as the picture doesn't really show how they can become lose even after tightening them. Still...the pinching sucked so I haven't ventured back!

Yea anal beads that are attached that way are usually of very low quality, at least the other part of this was great!
Sounds like a great introductory toy, just wish it could be sterilized. But at least plastic's better than jelly! Glad you like the probe! If you like the sensation of the beads (without the pinching and hygiene issues) and think you could handle something a little larger, you might check out Fun Factory's Bendybeads. They're very soft and pliable, but definitely on the larger side.
