Nexus G-play (Small) - g-spot vibrator by LB Trading Ltd - review by ~LaUr3n~

The Nexus line of erotic toys is known for their superior construction and uniquely designed plugs and toys. The cool shapes and colors catch the eye and look so fun! This little guy has a few uses and is unisex. For females looking for g-spot stimulation, I would recommend getting the G-Play medium. This one is a bit too small. It is a great mini-anal plug though! And for males, this also feels great anally as warm up, but it isn’t quiet the right size to hit the perineum. I did find a unique way to incorporate this into oral though…The silicone material is safe for everyone, so though with allergies need not worry!

The G-Play small is made of super safe FDA approved silicone. The silicone is body safe, non-porous, phthalates and latex free, hypo-allergenic food-grade material. There is no smell or taste. It feels luxuriously velvety to the touch and has no give. Since the shape is so small the toy feels firm and solid. There is very little give, but with this size, you really don’t need any.

The G-play small is just under 3” in length and 2 ½” of insertable length. It is small in girth also, the thickest part is in the middle at 2 ½” in circumference, a mere almost inch across in diameter. The base is in proportion to the rest of the toy. It is 1” wide by 1 ¾” long. This is big enough for most anal toy users, but it can get swallowed inside the vaginal canal if you are not careful.

The shape of this toy is the real winning point. It reminds me of a seal. The head of the toy protrudes slightly and is designed to stimulate the perineum (p-spot) or the g-spot. It also works to find the clitoris. The head narrows slightly and then widens into the body.
Again, towards the base, the toy gets slimmer and then attaches to the flat base. This is where the battery compartment and power controls are. There is a spot for the battery and a single power button. The plastic vibrator that is housed inside actually can come free of the silicone sleeve, this becomes important after play.

This toy is extremely suitable for travel. It is so tiny and also is a unique shape that not many would be able to detect its purpose. Since it doesn’t collect dust, lint, etc, easily there are no elaborate procedures for travel safety.

This toy is super easy to operate. You simply press the only button on the bottom. There is one speed of steady vibration that I would consider moderate. It is felt a lot stronger anally than vaginally. This is due to the anus being a tighter cavity. If you press the button again it turns off. The noise level was very low. This could be used in a campus dorm setting with privacy.

Now to the uses for the G-Play small:

1. First I tried it as a female g-spot stimulator. I had a hard time finding my g-spot with this toy, so I concluded that it just isn’t large enough for that. The vibrations did feel nice internally, but were not strong enough to bring me to climax. They felt better on my clitoris since the uniquely shaped head was able to pinpoint the area.

2. Second, I used this anally. It slid in with ease and stayed put despite its small size. I barely needed to use any lubricant. The micro vibration reverberated deeper than they did vaginally. This was my preferred way to use the toy. It felt best when the head was facing towards my clit. For some reason it felt more full this way. I had not problem flipping it around if I wanted to. My male partner, who is somewhat novice to anal play, loved this also. Normally he doesn’t like vibration anally, but the size and speed were just right for him. He said that it didn’t hit his p-spot however. The size is also too small for this, just like it was when trying to find my g-spot. But, the shape was good for extended wear. I could comfortably walk around with this inside of me. For sex however, it had a hard time staying in. This was true if worn vaginally also.

3. The unique way I found to use the G-play small was during oral! It is so small that it isn’t in the way of a tongue. If your anatomy is shorter than mine, you can simply twist the toy so that the base goes horizontally instead! This is my favorite way to use the toy. I don’t have any other vibrating toy that I am able to do this with while getting oral at the same time. It is great because it is hands free.

A major down side to the G-play small is the battery that it takes. It uses a single AAAA battery. That’s right…quadruple A. I have never even seen one of these before! The packaging says that the battery lasts a long time. I really hope so, because I would have no idea where to look for a AAAA battery.

If you need to change the battery, the compartment opens with a little latch and the battery slides in. The little latch comes off and is very small! Don’t lose it otherwise you are SOL. Remove the battery when not in use.

Remember that this toy is made of silicone. This means water based and oil based lubricants only. This toy is super easy to clean. You can either use soap and water (be careful to not get the battery compartment wet), or you can remove the vibrating portion. Just fold back the silicone and lightly tug on the black part. It will slide out. You can now boil the silicone sleeve to sterilize it. The package that this comes in is great for storage.

The packaging for the G-play is equally small. It comes in a clear plastic cylinder with a removable cap top. There is a removable sleeve on the inside that has some information about the toy. It describes care, use, and relaxation techniques.

I am giving the G-play small 4 stars. If it weren’t for the ability to be used during oral, I would give it 3. The size is too small to do much or anything at all for the g-spot or p-spot, but it is a comfortable and discreet anal plug. This toy is great for beginners, male or female, who are looking to experiment with their bodies.
