Pure plug large - butt plug discontinued by Njoy - review by Zandrock

The pure plug large by Njoy is a stainless steel butt plug. As the title says this is my new favourite toy. The toy is made of stainless steel and is polished to be extremely shiny. I do not think you are going to find a more durable toy. It is made of stainless steel. The stuff is created to last. The manufacturers tell you the only real way to wreck it is to use corrosive cleaning chemicals that would ruin the finish.

The toy is best to use anally. This is what the toy is created for. It could be used vaginally, but it seems a bit short. If we try to use it vaginally I will mention it in the follow up review. But I think other toys would be more fun. If you wanted a stainless steel vaginal toy there are others out there like the Fun wand, or Pure wand. Since it is made out of stainless steel, it will hold temperature better than other materials, such as silicone. You could dip it in an ice bath or some warm water before insertion. It typically is a bit cool (body temperature is 37 degrees and room temperature is normally around 24 degrees). This is a fun sensation when inserting it, but it warms up quickly to body temperature. The toy has a handle that prevents it from slipping all the way in. I have no worries of losing this in my anal cavity.

Deciding on who this toy is good for is hard. The diameter of the toy is 1.5 inches. I think this is bigger than a beginner would want. But this toy is the most comfortable toy I have ever inserted. Because it is made of metal is has a very very small neck. This means your anus muscles are not stretched and you do not have that feeling of wanting to push the toy out. Once it was in, it stayed in until I pulled it out. This is in contrast to other butt plugs I have, such as the bronco and another 1.5 inch toy I have from a local shop, which sometimes falls out. The toy is metal, so it has absolutely no give, so just be a little careful when inserting it. I find it highly unlikely, but it would be possible to bruise something when inserting it.

I use this toy for both masturbation and intercourse. The toy has some upwards curve so as a male I get some prostate stimulation. If I contract my muscles I can push it upwards and send a nice sensation through me. It is very fun and I think adds to both sex and masturbation. My girlfriend has never tried this toy, so I do not have a female perspective, but I think it would still be fun. It provides good anal stimulation even without prostate stimulation.

The toy is made out of high quality stainless steel. The steel is highly polished, so that you can see yourself in it. I think this gives the toy nice aesthetic appeal. The toy smells like a piece of stainless steel. You cannot smell it if you are holding it in your hand, but if you bring it up to your noise it smells kind of like metal. I guess something similar to a fork. I do not think it smells bad at all. So I would basically consider this toy odorless. The toy tastes like metal as well. Nothing very noticeable, but again similar to a fork is the closest comparison I can make. After the toy is used rectally it has a very slight odor right after removal, but once you give it a quick wash with soap and water it goes back to the original odor. In short, it does not retain any odor.

The toy is very smooth. There are no seams. It is once solid piece. The toy has a ever so slightly point to it. Nothing you can feel anally, but if you feel with your hands you will feel it. The toy is very hard. It is a chunk of metal and I think is exactly what you expect. I thought this toy would be heavy, but it was even heavier then I expected. This thing weighs about 1 pound. If you hold it in your hand you will probably be a bit surprised about its weight. Stainless steel is completely non-porous. It will not harbor any bacteria, so it is extremely safe. My other favorite part is that is is compatible with all lubes. I like silicone lube more. It dries up less and this my only anal toy I can use silicone lube with (my other toys are silicone based. EF rates this toy with a safety rating of 10. That gives you an idea of how safe it is.

The toy is 1.5 inches in diameter at the head. I would say this is better for intermediate users. This probably would not be the first thing I ever stick in my anus. The toy does however have a very small diameter around the handle. Very, very small. This makes the toy very comfortable when inserted. I could wear this toy all day. It does not provide the sensation of having to poop as I mentioned earlier. This feature of the toy makes it beginner friendly, but I still think I would recommend a smaller version to a beginner or at least to try playing with fingers first.



The toy has a handle with a loop it in. I personally cannot fit my finger through the loop. But, I think it was a good idea to keep small. When I sit with this toy in it does not push upwards. I think if the handle was bigger this might be the case. I agree with the choice for a small handle.

The bulbous end of the toy has some upward curve. As a male I find this toy provides some very good prostate stimulation. The toy is very firm, because it is metal, so when I clench by muscles it pushes upwards and because it is firm, it provides some good firm pleasure. I would definitely recommend this toy for P-spot fun.

This toy performed greatly. I absolutely love it and it is my new favorite anal plug. Truth be told, I was a little worried the weight of the toy would make it hard to use. That it would have a constant feeling of being dragged out by gravity. But honestly I did not experience any of this. The toy has some weight to it and has a good presence, but it is not hard to keep in.

The toy is made to create anal pleasure and it does that. It creates a nice filling and full sensation. It just feels good to have in my anus. Furthermore, it provides good prostate stimulation if you are a male. I would not recommend this toy for any type of thrusting motion. It is simply to short and would be hard to do. I think it is best to just leave in.

Honestly, there is nothing about this toy I find bad. I have no complaints. It does not vibrate and therefore does not have patterns. It does not have a bunch of fancy bells and whistles but it doesn't need them. It is meant to provide good anal stimulation and it does, and it does it great. There is absolutely nothing I would change about this toy.

This toy is very easy to care for. The stainless steel is very durable and does not require much care. After use just grab some soap and water and wash the toy. Dry the toy off and store it away. The comes in a nice box which I kept and continue to use for storage. It is big and bulky so you might want to store it just in a plastic bag as well. It does not come with a storage bag, which is too bad. I think for the price it would be good to include one, but I do not really mind. The toy also has a loop in the handle so you could tie a string and hang the toy up.

The toy, as mentioned earlier, is compatible with all lubes, water, oil, and silicone based. I think it is nice that the toy is very versatile. It does not retain lube which is nice too. As soon as I wash it with soap and water all of the silicone lube comes right off.

The comes with very nice packaging. The outside is very plain other than a small amount of text on the side that says pure fun large plug there is nothing to say that it is a butt plug.

To be quite honest, it is similar to my expensive watch box. If you left it out, people very well might not know it is a sex toy. There is a white sleeve on top of a black box. Inside of the black box is a nice little insert. Also, in the box is your beautiful stainless steel plug sitting on some nice pink satiny material. It looks luxurious. I think it is a nice addition when you are paying for a more expensive toy. I continue to use the box for storage even though it is bulkier.

I think this is just an awesome toy. I typically wait for my partner to finish, but sometimes she likes me to finish first. If she inserts this toy, blindfolds me, and takes command, no matter how hard I try I finish pretty quickly. It just provides some great added stimulation to sex.
