Classic butt plug royal by Doc Johnson - review by te

The classic butt plug royal has a very fancy name for a rather ordinary product which works in its favor. The size of this particular plug was the main reason for my choosing it. It does what it is supposed to do with only a few quips, which I will discuss later. This toy is meant for one place and one place only (hint: it is in the name) and it fits nicely if you are ready for this size toy. On that note, this toy is probably not the best for beginners due to its size; I would recommend that people new to anal toys start with a considerably smaller toy, such as one that is 1" to 1 1/2" in diameter. The build of this plug is a filled shell which does take away from the design of the product some. The material on the outside gives it its form while the material on the inside is filler, which makes it slightly squishy. This can be easily seen when looking at the bottom as you will see a ring that stands out. The total height is 6" with the widest point being 2 1/2" diameter. There is no strong odor with this product. When using this plug you get a wonderful full feeling, and it leaves you feeling stretched out afterwards. I find that putting it in and just leaving it alone for different lengths of time to be enjoyable by itself. It is fun to have in and just experiment with the different sensations you can achieve by doing ordinary things--who knew shifting the way you are sitting could make such a large difference in the sensations you get from this toy?

I have used it for solo time by itself and with several other male masturbation toys. When this plug is used in conjunction with a masturbation toy, such as a fleshlight, if you do not have a stronger orgasm I don't know what to tell you, other than that I feel sorry it does not do the same to you as it does for me. The difference that it can make is amazing and that is with it not applying considerable pressure on the p-spot. I might be making an assumption on this, but I feel that it should make contact with most people's p-spost. The smooth surface of the plug, which is rubber, seems to whisk water-based lube away so be sure to keep it slick or else it gets rather dry and uncomfortable fairly fast. Using silicone lube may alleviate this to some degree but I have not tried it personally.

Cleaning it is a breeze; a few minutes with hot water and soap and it is ready to dry. You can air dry it if you want, but as it does not have a tacky surface it does not collect the little fuzzies from towels like other products, so drying it with a towel is usually how I prefer to dry it. This toy, being rubber, is porous so using it with a condom is highly recommended--especially if you plan on sharing it. It has not reacted with any of the toys/items that I have stored it with. The only distortion/defect that it does have is a slight dent from when I stored something heavy on it for an extended period of time. This shows no sign of disappearing anytime soon. Visually, I like how plain it is; nothing fancy and nothing gimmicky.
