Bronco - butt plug by Tantus - review by Tefca

The Tantus Bronco is an intermediate size (1.75") solid silicone butt plug designed for the intermediate anal toy user. This is not a beginners anal toy; you should be able to take a 1.5" plug such as the Ryder or Zing without any discomfort before attempting to ride this Bronco (OK, so one cowboy joke).

That being said, the Bronco is a very satisfying and filling plug. At 5" of insertable length, it's a little longer than the beginner plugs which worked well for me. The thick neck does a good job of giving you a comfortable stretched feeling when it's fully inside.

Like all anal toys, it's not gender specific; it's good for everyone.

This toy, like all of Tantus' silicone toys, is top quality silicone. The body is firm with a little "give" to the outside. There are no manufacturing seams or other issues to deter from the toy. Being silicone, it is non-porous, and should only be used with non-silicone based lubes. The toy had no smell after a quick "new toy" wash with warm water and anti-bacterial soap.

Bronco is my new "fill up" plug. It's a definite step up from the 1.5" plugs, but not so much that you regret it the next day. The classic plug shape works well for a reason; once you manage to get past the greatest diameter the plug slides on in with a satisfying pop. The design of the tip and overall firmness makes it easy to insert.

The thick neck is nice, definitely thicker than on the Ryder. The rectangular base is large and thick, with absolutely no worries of it going too far in (see my Ryder review for that bit of fun) but is still comfortable. It's not the most discreet base and would probably be visible under clothing.

Nothing but praise here - like any well designed tool, it does what it is made to do and it does it very well. The size is perfect for the "just past beginners" stage. I have nothing negative about this toy - for a classic shaped plug it's perfect.

As with all quality silicone toys, a good wash with soap and water is fine for us married folk. There are no seams or ridges, so cleanup is a snap. If I was sharing it with multiple people, then I'd probably boil it or run it through the dishwasher (only air dry, no heat). We store the Bronco in a zip-loc bag to keep it from being up against any other toys in the toybox or sucking up every piece of lint or pet hair in the room.

Tantus toys come in a nice clear plastic box, suspended in a clamshell package in the box. Being clear, the packaging is not discreet at all. The outside box can be a pain to open sometimes, with 3 plastic tabs on the top of the box that need to be released before you can remove the inner packaging.
