Though I consider myself an aficionado of anal play, these were the first anal beads I've tried, and I have to label these underwhelming. Though there's nothing particularly unpleasant about them, they aren't particularly fun, either.

Obviously this is a very cheap toy, which is both a plus and a minus. If you're curious about beads, it would be a good investment. Of course these are jelly, which can't be cleaned particularly well, a trait I don't care for in any toy, but especially an anal toy, so beware about hygiene. Still, the material feels nice - solid with a bit of give. The smallest beads are extremely small, and the tip felt more pokey than pleasurable, but the larger beads gave a nice sensation. Unfortunately, the beads seem very long, which makes them a bit awkward to use. Perhaps those who are very new to anal play will enjoy the very slow build up, but I'd prefer a less lengthy product.

There were some good qualities to these beads. I like the fact that there's no string showing - just jelly in between the beads. While you can't sanitize the beads, at least they won't get gross as quickly as mere twine would. For such a cheap product, the quality seems decent. I didn't feel like these were in danger of falling apart or anything, and the strong ring at the end of the beads for easy removal is handy. This toy would probably most appeal to current fans beads, particularly the newbies, though people completely new to anal play might prefer something a bit shorter and less unwieldy. With a 1" maximum diameter, it's doubtful that these would be must use at prepping someone for further anal penetration - I'd recommend a good set of plugs for that situation. Still, the toy was entertaining enough to play around with a few times solo and during foreplay. While the X-10s didn't quite rock my world, I can see how people who like a certain type of stimulation would be quite pleased with them.
