Prickler - glass wands discontinued by Pyrexions - review by YoungGun

I am just discovering the benefits of glass; high quality, smooth finish, ease of cleaning, and stylish look. This product offers all of the above. This is the first glass probe I have purchased, and I was very surprised with the experience. As my title implies, this is not a toy for the novice to anal play as it can be quite a bumpy and rough ride.

At first, I did not care for this toy as the bumps were not as smooth of a ride as I had anticipated. I would classify myself as an amateur to anal toys, but this took some extra lube and time to get started. The glass is typical of the material. It is very rigid and will acquire temperature characteristics reasonably fast. I do not consider these flaws, so if you are a fan of glass, you can be assured that this is just like any other glass product.

This toy is very visually appealing. It is one of my favorite pieces I own. It has a very interesting design that looks both inviting and gives a sense of mystery as to what will be felt. I have been critical of the Prickler in the beginning of this review, but once inserted, I did enjoy the experience. Once I realized I could get past the nubs, I became very turned on inserting and retrieving this end resulting in a very intense feeling as the nubs passed over my prostate while thrusting in and out of myself. I would recommend a good deal of lube and a recipient that is comfortable with a rough, bumpy toy. If you enjoy this rough pleasure (or possibly giving your partner this experience) occasionally, I would recommend the Prickler.

I have yet to use the rounded end yet, but I imagine this would add a smoother, bulbous feel. The round end works great as a handle and seems to be a safe size to prevent losing the toy if used anally as I have described. The toy is a good length, however, and I do not feel this will be an issue whichever way the toy is inserted.

Overall, the Prickler is a good toy for those wanting to experience a probe that offers a little rougher ride than smoother glass products on the market which definitely can be enjoyable in its own way!
