Icicles No. 27 - butt plug discontinued by Pipedream - review by Pumpk1nPatch

I purchased Icicle #27 by Pipedream to delve more into anal, since this toy is mainly advertised as a butt plug in most places it's sold. While I was standing looking at it, it didn't seem too intimidating. The #27 is beautifully made with borosilicate (Pyrex) glass, so it is great at withstanding thermal shock, however if it is put through rapid temperature change it can still break. It has an impressive weight at one pound. It's visually striking and its colors, shape and texture were enough for me to make a piece in my glass collection.

Later, when I brought it home to put it with the rest of the pile, only then did I realize how big it was when it was compared to all of my small to medium sized plugs. #27 is significantly bigger. It's over 5 inches in circumference, while all my others are no bigger than 3 1/2. I'm no beginner, but this surely made me feel like one just looking at it with comparisons!

I started using it vaginally with a lubricant. It works so great with just a little bit of hybrid lube. (One of my favorite things about glass is that I can use any type of lubes with it.) Initially, it was shockingly cold, as glass normally is and I have a chilly house. Only within a few seconds, it had warmed with my body heat. I immediately took great pleasure with the texture. I could feel every nub and swirl that this piece features. I have plenty of other textured toys, but sometimes I just don't really notice or get anything from it, but with this one, I knew they were there. This was the first time I've used anything this shape vaginally, and I found it to be extremely pleasing. Once it gets past its widest part, it stays in place nicely. It was not uncomfortable going it at all. For me, this could not be used for double penetration with another toy or person. It was too painful while trying to use something else for anal penetration. I just could not use this for anal either, even working up to it. It was just not going to happen because it's so big. My S/O tried using it for its intended use and even he said it was too big and uncomfortable.

Cleaning it is a breeze because of the materials. It's glass, so it's a 10 on the safety scale. You can even toss it in the dishwasher. However, I use a toy cleaner spray or wipes because I don't need everyone I live with opening up the dishwasher and finding my icicles. One of the only issues I had with it is that it doesn't come with its own case. It did fit one of my spare 9 inch pouches fine.

Even though I could not use this as I had intended, I still think very highly of it because of the immense pleasure it gives me, and it's a real treat for they eye.
