The plug worked well for thrusting, more so than using it as a plug. The body is more long and sleek than a normal plug that will just stay in on its own. The jelly is very flexible and soft, so the sliding in is not difficult with a little help from lube. You can use water or silicone lube to help with insertion. I would recommend using a condom to keep it sanitary. If you use a condom, you can also share it with someone else or use it vaginally. I did not personally use it vaginally, but because of the length and size of the plug it could be used as a basic dildo.

It is very jelly smelling. The smell is like a very stinky plastic smell.

The jelly feels hard because of the thickness of the plug, but is still very squishy. It is very flexible and smooth. The material of the plug does attract a lot of lint and hair.

Jelly toys should not be used without a condom. Bacteria can become absorbed into the jelly. Jelly cannot be boiled so you are not able to sterilize the toy. I have had it for a couple of years and I do notice there is an oily texture to it. The oil does stick to your hands and other body parts. I cannot remember though if the oil was there at first. Also since I have had the plug for a couple of years I have noticed some color discoloration. Its turning a bit green.

The design of this plug works well for thrusting because it is long and smooth. There isn’t a spot that really holds the plug in place to keep it from slipping out. That is why you can use it for thrusting. The plug is tapered in shape and that really helps with insertion, for a beginner to anal this could really help them. The Blue Thunder does live up to its name in color. The color is very vibrant and bright, though I don’t think it's as bright as the picture on the site shows. It is opaque and not see-through.

It worked well for the thrusting, but for the purpose of a plug it did not stay in. The base is good and wide and keeps the plug from going in all the way. Wearing this plug for extended periods of time could be done easier if the plug stayed in on its own. The squishiness of the plug does make it comfortable for extended time periods with help of pants or something holding it in. If you are wearing tight pants you will be able to see the plug.

If you do use it for thrusting and your lube runs dry you will start to get a bit of a drag from the jelly though I would recommend using a condom. When using a condom, it is best to use a water-based lubrication or silicone lubrication,. Water-based lubricant does run dry after a while, but adding just a bit of water will help restore it. Silicone lubrication doesn't run dry though and helps for long periods of wear. I used about a nickel size of water-based lubricant while using it for thrusting.

Jelly material cannot be sterilized. I would recommend using a toy cleaner or a mild antibacterial soap and water. Do not store jelly toys next to each other. I do recommend wrapping it in a cloth when storing them because they can react to other products and bleed color. I used a Ziploc bag as well. You want to make sure to store it in a cool dark place. Placing it in a place with extreme heat or sunlight is bad for jelly. You also cannot boil jelly. Do not use oil-based products with jelly because they do react. Some people have reactions to the jelly and are sensitive to it. Some jelly toys do contain phthalates.

The package for this seemed to be labeled towards men. The package was not discreet at all. There were no instructions on how to use this toy.

This is not my go to plug because of the maintenance to keep in clean and having to use a condom every time I use it. I found out from this toy I am allergic to jelly. Though I did like how smooth it was, I was bummed it did not stay in more on its own.
