X - 10 beads by Cal Exotics - review by Napalm Monkey

The X-10 beads by California Exotic were the second set of anal beads I picked up due to the very cheep price and very small starting size. The beads start at such a small size that even anal virgins will be able to take with ease and work up gradually to two 1 inch sized balls at the end of the 10 1/4 inch length within no time at all. All of the beads can be inserted due to the retrieval ring at the end of the X-10 Beads. The retrieval ring is made of the same material and is relatively small in size providing ease in removing the beads while not being too big and getting in the way.

I found the X-10 jelly balls to be made of a lower quality jelly and manufacturing standard than I was comfortable with. The balls themselves have a seam which runs down both sides where the jelly was not smoothed out entirely when it was manufactured in two separate halves then joined together therefor creating a protruding edge. While not sharp to the touch they are not entirely smooth and could create discomfort or possibly cuts while being used. The retrieval ring being so small and thin to avoid becoming annoying to the wearer during movement seems rather flimsy and i doubt will last long making the toy very unsafe for extended use. Having purchased the purple anal jelly beads previously and enjoying them better my ring personally saw no signs of wear and tear but I did not use this toy very many times.

The X-10 balls are made out of jelly which has a very low safety rating due to the fact that jelly is extremely porous, and the chemical composition is questionable. Always take care when using jelly toys, especially between partners. Thoroughly clean your toys with mild soap and water, toy cleaner, or us a condom each time to ensure keeping your toys clean and your sex safe.

These beads are not a bad purchase for someone looking for a set of anal beads with a gradual increase, or someone experiencing anal for the first time. But all in all I would only recommend these to someone if you cannot purchase the purple anal jelly beads as a first set for some reason.
