Not the safest, not the most filling.
These are unsafe, too large, and overall not a great product to own. They are magnets for bacteria and can not be fully sanitized! Spend your $8 elsewhere!Published: July 27, 2011
Pros:
Pretty colored
Cons:
Everything Else.
I first bought these beads before I knew I liked anal play.
I bought them to see if I would even like sticking things up my butt. They seemed cheap, like a good start and they seemed like they provided some variety.
I was right about the first and the last thing.
I wasn't right that they were a good start.
Sitting around on Edenfantasys you learn a few things just from reading reviews. You know that Jelly is porous and that toys are only anal safe if they have a base.
I didn't know that when I bought these, I didn't think that you could even sell a toy that wasn't anal safe.
So I'll tell you right now Do Not Stick These Up Your Ass!
The risk isn't worth it!
But going onwards with my review.
This is a foot of anal beads. The anal beads are in two sizes, large and larger. There are five of each size.
I prefer to start with the smaller side and work my way up onto the larger size.
These beads had a smell the second I popped them out of the clamshell plastic container they arrived in.
They smelt a chemical smell, they didn't have a taste with them.
Since they are jelly they can be used with any lubricant, but there is no way to clean them.
They will retain your butt germs and they will NOT be safe to share, they also will harbor bacteria and become dangerous to use.
They are designed as traditional beads, but with one fatal design flaw. No retrieval ring, no flared base to keep it from fully inserting into your anus and getting lost. There is no way to keep them from needing to be surgically removed from your rectal cavity. Sure you can play it safe and not go over the tenth bead, but what are the chances you won't try it just once to see if you can get them back out?
The material still wouldn't be great, but if there was something to keep them from going in, they would recieve two instead of one star.
They are a translucent purple color, they really are pretty, but dangerous.

Note that they don't look like a great choice, so do remain open to other toys even if you don't like these. Look for a nice silicone bead stick or probe.

How far is too far for insertion before it becomes uncomfortable? I've actually NEVER used anal beads and have always wanted to!

Every person is different. Go slow and insert one at a time. Use lots of lube as you go! Enjoy I was very skeptical about them at first but now I'm in love with anal beads and have actually opened up more to the idea of all anal play!

Anal Beads. painful?

Are they painful and what does it feel like?

Quote: Are they painful and what does it feel like?Anal play shouldnt hurt use plenty of lube always. Ive never used anal beads but i always thought the pleasure was from the fullness when you have them in and then you can feel them move when you pull them out during orgasm.

Poorly constructed anal beads can hurt because of ridges or the rope. A better choice is one of the silicone bead stick toys, with the added benefit that they're easier to insert and more hygenic.
Flexi-Felix is well regarded, as are the Tantus Ripple toys.

Thank you for viewing Purple anal jelly beads – sex toy review page!

I'm still looking for beads in the string design, but silicone. Ive found wands, but nothing floppy like traditional beads like these. I still have my old jelly ones too.
Thanks for the review.
Thank you!
Good review.
wow, scathing review, thanks!
I wouldn't buy these either. They can and should be cleaned, however. Even jelly can be cleaned with toy cleaner and/or hot water and soap. No, you will not sanitize them, but you certainly can't leave them uncleaned. Soap and water will certainly do better than nothing.
As for the "you need a base" thing, read Tristan Taomino's book on Anal Sex for Women. She says if a toy is at least eight inches in length and you can get a fist around it, it is probably safe from being "sucked into" the anus. So, yes, shorter toys have to have a flared base, a toy that is a food long does not, as long as you hang on to it.
Thanks for the review
These are very beautiful and intimidating. Thanks for the review!
