Crystal jellies butt plug junior by Doc Johnson - review by NolaSickGirl

This is a beginner level, smooth, jelly butt plug. Jelly is the biggest problem. It is highly porous and as a result, even the most careful cleaning still leaves me wary of using it, even when I solely use it anally. Out of laziness, cheapness, or just plain dislike, I do not want a butt plug that highly suggests condom use. Not to mention, this is a small plug that a regular condom would swallow whole and the idea of the condom possibly coming off due to the size differences is another issue I think of when looking at the suggested use. I like this toy because of the price and it was great to transition me into using plugs. I did not have any issues with usage, so that is a positive.

It is easy to insert and comfortable, especially for folks new to anal, but the base isn't wide enough to keep it in most of the time. It is only 4.5 inches, which is the perfect size for newbies and has a 3 inch girth at the widest point. It is very light in terms of weight. I do not remember a smell specifically and the packaging is your run of the mill cheap sex toy, clear bubble plastic with a picture of a model.

My other issue is that it is a magnet for hair, dust, dirt, anything. We would have to rinse it off and keep it away from most surfaces before use because it picks up everything! After a while, it also got sticky. I clean my toys with great care so it was not due to misuse, but rather an issue with the material. A plastic bag would be a good idea for storage. This is just not the kind of quality toy I am comfortable with and even at its price, I would not purchase it again. For someone who is interested in trying out a butt plug or using one a few times, this is a great choice. Personally, I consider it a disposable item, only to be used short-term.
