Now That's an Odd Balloon

If you want some new adventurous and a daring anal toy for you and your partner, this may be a good toy for you, but not if either of you is just starting out with them. This can be really fun but it definitely isn't for everyone.

Use

The Inflatable Latex Probe is an anal probe which has a pump, so that when it's inserted it can be inflated. Oh, and it vibrates. This is a really very adventurous anal toy and it will add some variety to your collection. Personally, I wouldn't really recommend this toy for those who aren't big fans of anal play, or beginners to it, but if you're looking for some adventure and daring, this might be the toy for you.

Material / Texture

The probe portion itself is hard, black, phthalates free plastic, which is then covered by a layer of black latex. The latex material isn't shiny the way latex clothing is, but more like the matte finish that a balloon would be, only much thicker. The controller for the vibrator is made of the same hard black plastic as the probe. The air tube going from the pump handle to the probe is fairly solid rubber, as is the pump itself. Despite this mix of materials, the probe is fairly odorless and doesn't have any pores to worry over. The whole of the toy is a mix between rigid and flexible, depending on the part you're inspecting.
    • Light odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

The probe itself is about four to five inches long and around three inches in diameter when deflated. Fully inflated, however, the tip becomes about six to eight inches in diameter. For those who are confused, and are thinking that the entirety of the probe inflates--no, it doesn't. Only the tip inflates and becomes a bulbous "balloon." There's a safety release button on the pump that you just push, and the "balloon" quickly deflates. Each pump adds about a quarter of an inch to the probes diameter. The air tube is roughly eighteen inches in length, and the pump handle fits easily into the palm of the hand. The air tube length is a bit problematic depending on the position you and your partner are in, but it doesn't take away from the toy at all. The cord for the vibrator controller is around two feet in length, and the controller is roughly two inches wide and four inches long. And for those wondering just where the vibrator is, it's in the base of the probe.
    • Partner play
    • Whimsical / artistic

Functions / Performance / Controls

The inflatable portion is really sturdy, even at full inflation, so you won't need to worry about it tearing or popping. (Scary thought, huh?) The vibrations are strong, but not too strong, and the material of the probe carries them nicely. They start from the base of the probe and work their way up the latex material so that even when inflated you can still feel them adequately. The controller itself features a small wheel for adjusting the speed of the vibrations. It's very easy to use and doesn't guzzle batteries (2 AA), which is another plus.
    • Multiple settings
    • Not discreet at all

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning this toy is easy. Use soap and warm water to wash the probe and dry it well after use. Storage, however, is a bit of a pain, because of all the different interconnecting components. The probe is permanently attached to both the cord and controller, and the air tube. The air pump handle itself can safely be popped on and off of the tube, but that doesn't save much space. Because of the length of the cord and its thinness, it can become tangled easily, so you may wish to use a bread tie or the like to keep it better organized during storage. The air tube itself is only semi-flexible so you won't be able to loop or bend it much. Overall, you'll want lots of space to store this in.
    • Difficult to store
    • Easy to clean
Follow-up commentary
The Inflatable Latex Probe is still my single, most adventurous toy. I still haven't worked up to full expansion during insertion, but every time I use this probe it's fun to see just how far I can go. The vibrations are strong and quiet, even after being put to use so often.
