Riley - g-spot strap-on dildo discontinued by Pleasure Works - review by Ane

I bought this specifically for strap-on sex with my girlfriend. I have been lusting after Riley for a while and finally we're together! This is a beautiful piece. It doesn't look realistic, but in my opinion it measures up to the real thing. In addition to being strap-on compatible it works great for solo play. For me, the bullet is also a huge perk. Honestly I had forgotten that that was going to come with it. It is very strong and when it's inserted in the hollow shaft of the dildo you can feel it through the silicone. My girlfriend said she could feel it while wearing it to use on me as well. Basically, this toy's usefulness as a vibrator and multi-use dildo makes it a great beginner's purchase!

There was no odor when it arrived, and it doesn't hold onto smell either.

The texture is the kind of grabby silicone that attracts lint and hair but if you keep it clean that's no problem.

Speaking of texture, Riley is smooth and the only texture-ey thing about her is the head that's kind of thicker than the rest of the shaft. Remember, I'm new to toys- I haven't used anything with texture, so the only thing I can really tell you is this does not seem to have it. So in that regard I think it's great for beginners! :)

She's flexible but not too flexy- she forms to the shape of you and angled the right way can stimulate the G spot.

This dildo has caught my eye many times over my last couple years I've been browsing Eden Fantasys. I've wanted to buy a really nice strap-on compatible dildo for a long time. I would log on and see what was available, and I just couldn't financially swing it until now. I kept coming back to Riley and I'm glad I did!

I'm drawn to bright colors and dildos that don't really look like the real thing. I don't mind realistic dildos, I'm open to the idea, (however I'm apprehensive about the ones with balls!) but I always just figure, if I'm going to be working with a penis-shaped thing why shouldn't it be a beautiful teal one, you know? It is like my dream fashion dildo. :) Luckily my girlfriend really liked the look of it too. She actually dislikes realistic styles so it worked out that I got what I want! When it got here I noticed that the beautiful teal color has a really nice subtle shimmer to it. Love it!

The size was important for us too.
Keep in mind, I'm a bisexual female in a LTR with a woman. This is kind of our first real experience with strap-on sex or even a dildo. (Technically it is our second but I will explain why I feel the first did not count! :) It's been a long time since I've had this kind of penetration.

We had tried the dildo that came with the New Comers Strap On Kit, and... for our purposes (vaginal intercourse) it did not. cut. it. I'm so sorry but after the real thing, I could not appreciate that tiny dildo. Riley is a much more realistic size, like a step smaller than my biggest ex-boyfriend. Not intimidatingly big, but a nice size nonetheless.

That being said, if you are new to penetration of any kind, maybe you should go with something smaller than Riley or get Riley and take it very slowly. I'd say it definitely measures up the real thing so it really depends on your individual tastes. My girlfriend, for example, likes to use Riley, but tried it inside of her and does not like it. Penetration is simply not her favorite, and when she does want it she wants something smaller.

Riley has a slight curve and as mentioned, the head is thicker than the shaft, so angled the right way it can stimulate the G-spot.

It performed well with our O-ring harness. It fits perfectly in the size of ring that comes with the Leather Strap rider, didn't move around, and because you have less control with a strap-on than you would when using it with your hands, it is nice that it's flexible and not stiff which can hurt if it rubs you the wrong way.

We've just washed Riley with hot water and soap, which is easy because of the smooth texture. We also use Eden wipes for quick clean up. We probably will throw her in the dishwasher from time to time as well and I don't anticipate any problems.

Riley's compatible with water-based lubricant which is what we use.

We store Riley in a hard plastic container with our other toys, but always make sure she's not in contact with other toys made out of different materials. I am not a whiz on what materials are safe to store with what, so I just use common sense and keep my toys separate from each other with the use of ziplocs, etc.

Riley was packaged in a simple, nicely designed cardboard box and within that a plastic bag, and I liked that I could recycle everything.

The box clearly states "vibrating dildo" and has a picture of the product on it, (not in scale, by the way! The first thing I thought before I opened the box was that it looked so much smaller than I thought, but so it's not really discreet. It has no directions but advertises that it is compatible with harnesses, anal safe, vibrating and that it can stimulate the G-Spot.

FYI, be very careful to put a little lube on the vibrator before putting it in the toy if you don't want it to get stuck!

I mentioned that it's been a long time since I had this kind of penetration. I wasn't prepared for anything after so long- I thought maybe it would hurt, or it would not live up to expectations.

But OH MY GOD was it like riding a bike. I have the best of both worlds, people. My girlfriend was like "Am I doing this right?... Oh yep. I guess I am." The first thrust in, my thought was "Okay, yes, this is right. This is taking me back." That is all I have to say.

I am so looking forward to all the great times we are going to have with this toy, and I will certainly update when we've had more time to explore it.
