Icicles No. 1 is a double ended dildo that can be used anally and vaginally. The design and size are great for all levels of users. The dildo does look rather long and skinny, but with the texture is really a nice toy, plus the length gives this toy a better handle. This dildo is best for solo use, but your partner could use it on you as well, whether you are male or female. This can be brought into the shower, since there are no controls to worry about, you can enjoy. You will want to be careful since it is about the size of the drain, it could get stuck, and also since it is glass it could break if you drop it.

For those of us with vaginas, this toy works really well vaginally and you can use either end. You are going to want to apply some lube, spit, or be juicy before entering your vagina. Be careful with thrusting, since it can bruise the cervix. The end that has a large ball on the end, with more defined texture provides a fuller feeling along with the swirls rubbing the G spot, which feels really nice. The smaller end lacks the full feeling and has less texture to rub on the G spot.

Now for those who want to use this anally, you are only going to want to use the smaller end. Using the other end could result in your anal cavity sucking it up and you visiting the Emergency room. Remember to use lube always for anal invasions, not doing so could result in hemorrhoids, anal fissures, or being just plain painful. The texture is easily felt along the anal walls and provides intensely pleasurable feelings.

Icicles No.1 is made of Pyrex glass, which is great because it is hypo-allergenic, latex free, Phthalates free, food grade material, and non porous. Pyrex glass has a safety rating of a 10, which is the best you can get. There is never any smell or taste associated with glass, but do be careful when you put this in your mouth, you could break your teeth. Glass is always good for temperature play, but I do not recommend boiling or freezing before using, doing so could hurt you internally. Instead run this under cold or warm water, or you could put into a bowl of ice water.

There is added texture to this dildo. It is a thin swirl; this is swirled all down most of the shaft. The texture is nothing too intense for beginners and enough to satisfy advanced user as well.

Icicles No. 1 does look like a beautiful icicle that would be hanging off the side of your house. It is only available in clear, which at first did not have me sold, until seeing in person. The beauty is breath taking; the design is almost flawless, minus some flaws.They beauty could be displayed, but it not discreet and someone would know it is a dildo. Each Icicle is hand blown, so there is no seam, but flaws are visible. They do not affect the use, since they are internal to the dildo.

The first end has a rounded top for easy insertion; the texture does not start until about a half inch down. The texture is about one fourth of an inch thick, with each wrap around being spaced just shy of one inch, and it goes down the eight inch shaft, the shaft is three and one fourth inch in circumference, at least the majority of it. There is an inch long ball at the bottom of the shaft; this is four and one half inches in circumference. The ball end is there so the dildo can be used for anal; it acts as a flared base. The total length of the dildo is nine inches. The size of this toy is more for beginners, but is just as nice for advanced users, unless you prefer more girth.

The Icicles performs really well anally and vaginally. You just have to remember that using lube or take it in the shower glass makes for slippery toys. You are going to want to be careful what position you are in with this toy also; I found out the hard way that I can not do doggy style with this toy. Some positions make the vagina tighter and harder to enter, and then the toy might rub against the pelvic bone; which is what happens to me in certain positions. This is due to the material not being flexible and firm.

Pyrex glass can be sanitized by boiling no longer than 3 min; be careful not to burn yourself taking it out and allow it to cool completely before using, glass will absorb heat. If you are sharing you should use condoms or you should sanitize in between partners, whom you are not fluid bond with. To quick clean this toy, just wash with soap and water or your choice toy cleaner, be sure to get next to the swirls, they do tend to collect juices. It can also be put in the dishwasher, according to the package.

Glass is compatible with all lubes, so enjoy it with the lube of your choice.

Icicles come packaged in a huge box, with thick foam packaging for protection. This is bulky but is really great for storage since it is really padded. The package does have images of the dildo, but does not say what it is; it is presentable as a gift in my opinion.
