Place it inside and wear it around without turning on the vibrator.

Turn on the vibrator and experience five different modes:
1) Repeated pattern of eight longer pulses followed by eight shorter pulses. The longer pulses are about half a second, shorter pulses are about a quarter of a second.
2) One second pulse, 1 1/2 second pause, two second pulse, one second pause, three second pulse, two second pause, and repeat.
3) Same as number one, except the longer pulses are one second, with the shorter pulses being half a second.
4) Repeated pattern of a quarter second pulse and a quarter second pause.
5) Repeated pattern of three pulses at a quarter of a second and a quarter of a second pause.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to toggle between the modes. The on/off button is the same button used to change modes and it is flush with the bottom of the vibrating unit. Hooking the thumb on top of the rear horn of the rocker and using the index finger to manipulate the button seems to work well once you get used to it. Fine enough for private play, but difficult to discreetly change modes or turn off while in public.

Especially pleasing is the rocker base, with its silicone smoothness and shape, it nestles very luxuriously between the cheeks. It feels very much like the edge of a lover's hand slipping firmly into place as your anus eagerly pulls the toy inside. Surprisingly, despite its relative bulk, the rocker doesn't chafe during extended use.

There are several nubs on the front of the rocker intended to stimulate the taint, but I don't really notice them.

A small butt plug was my first toy and I knew right away that I would want something bigger. I considered The substantially similar G-Play which comes in two sizes smaller than the G-Rider. I opted to get the larger G-Rider for two reasons: the insertable length was only slightly longer than my middle finger, which I had experimented with, and it had five modes of vibration versus only one for the small and medium.

Boy, would I have been disappointed with either of the smaller ones! I don't know that the large is "perfect" in size, but I don't think I'd want it much longer while hitting unexpected bumps on the road while driving. As it is, I can grind as firmly as I want to and not feel any discomfort from going too deep.

G-rider is only my second anal toy, but my first vibrating one. The initial sensation of vibration inside was extremely pleasant, but it soon gave way to a certain amount of frustration. The frustration stemmed from experiencing incredibly good sensation, then I'd lose the sensation as the vibration pattern changed. I kept toggling through the patterns, trying to find something that sustained the pleasure. Finally, I realized there was no mode for constant, sustained vibration.

The closest was two modes of constant, but pulsating, vibration, but even those frustrated me when the pattern changed just as it was getting good. I was about to give up on the vibrations until I tried the three-count pulse, one-count pause mode. It is the simplest pattern, which allowed me to get in rhythm, manipulating the rocker to the right spot to coincide with the pattern. Frustration conquered.

That lead to learning the more complicated patterns. Now that I know what each of them is doing, I can get in sync and Rhythm Ride and maximize the pleasure.

This toy is as easy to clean as any other silicone toy. Care just has to be taken not to get the vibrating unit wet.

The vibrating unit is a little difficult to remove at first. The technique I've found most useful is to pull the two horns of the rocker toward the shaft until you can get your fingers under the base of the vibrating unit. Then relax your hold on the horns or they will continue to grip the shaft of the vibrating unit. Pull the silicone shaft of the toy in the opposite direction of the vibrating unit and it will slide right out.

The vibrating unit is shaped somewhat like a 'T,' but the shaft leans to one side. Kind of like a number 7 with the top extended past the down stroke like the top of a T. When replacing it inside the silicone toy, the shaft leans away from the "point" at the top of the silicone shaft. It is very easy to tell if you don't have it facing the right direction. If that becomes obvious, spin it 180 degrees and you will immediately see that it is ready to slide into place.

I didn't find the packaging useful for storage in the least. But, then we have begun to store all our toys in a curio cabinet with glasses, shelves, and lighting. The G-Rider looks strong and proud displayed in this manner, like some sort of oversized chess piece, perhaps a rook or a knight.

Reading back over my review I realize it may not live up to the OMG-Rider title. But, here is the inspiration for the title. While I have masturbated and received oral sex to orgasm while wearing G-Rider, neither experience provided the best experience G-Rider has to offer. I got in touch with my body in a way I thought only possible for the ladies, receiving sustained, satisfying, orgasm-less pleasure without the frustration associated with no orgasmic release.

It that really possible? OMG-Rider, it is!
