Onyx Stix smooth plug - butt plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Hardware

The Onyx Stix smooth plug is a great toy for either vaginal or anal use. It is originally designed for anal use however and works great! The smooth texture is fantastic for smooth in and out stroking motions, but just make sure you are careful because the toy has some flexibility, but not much.

This toy is made from PVC which makes it very smooth to the touch and has some slight give when squeezed or bent. When you first open the package, there is a slight chemical smell to it, but you have to be very close to it, and it is faint. Upon using this on my lover, she described the toy as smooth and plushy. She did comment that the texture is nice and smooth, so it's great for a beginner.

The design is nice. It mimics a baton-like design with a rounded plug handle. It performed its function well and is not too big, which is definitely a plus. The size might be a tad too big for a beginner, but if you were looking to graduate from something smaller, this would be a great choice. I think this would be a great toy for travel.

This toy's simplistic deign is what makes it shine. By using PVC as a material, Doc Johnson has managed to make a flexible anal toy that feels great. The two large "balls" at the end can be inserted and it has a retrieval cord. The one thing I would have to say I do not like so much is that my lover stated that it did not have a flared base, making anal something you have to be careful with. Otherwise you will be making a trip to the hospital to retrieve it.

Cleaning PVC is pretty much like cleaning any other toy. Some warm water and antibacterial soap cleans it up nicely and also helps to get rid of the smell the toy comes with. Easy to clean, easy to store, and works great with water and silicone lubes.
