Perfect for the Guy Toying with the Idea of Anal Play

Perfect for the guy toying with the idea of anal play. While many other toys are large and scary this little guy appeals to more than just a good pounding. Its non-intrusive curves will hit him in just the right spot and the soft material is harmless.
Published: May 1, 2009
Pros:
Easy clean up, soft & flexible, discrete design.
Cons:
My bf had to pee a lot until he got used to the sensation.

useful review
When my (straight) boy friend expressed his interest of anal play, I wanted to surprise him with something that would not freak him out. He is new to anal play and while wanting to try it for some time was afraid of even slightly larger toys. He didn’t want a dildo or anything that looked like a penis to start. The original appeal to the “Love Pacifier” was its shape. It just doesn’t cry out “I’m a sex toy!” Another attribute of this toy was its promise of prostate massage.

We have been playing with this one for about a month now. This toy is great (especially for straight men) because of its shape and texture. The different curves and tip hit him in new places that cannot be experienced in the normal sexual experience. We also looked forward to the health benefits of prostate massage.

The Love Pacifier’s small size allows for easy insertion and its handle makes it really fun to just let him lay back while I gently move it around for him. We have found that not pulling it out, but moving around side to side and up and down resulted in the best sensation. The shape applies pressure to his g-spot. Its soft and flexible body allows him to comfortably perform on me and even walk around the house without having to remove for a break. As with any anal play, we like to use LOTS of lube!

The first few times we used it, he had to pee a lot and was not able to climax even though he really enjoyed the sensation. After several uses as a couple and a few on his own, he is now able to reach a full climax (rather quickly at times) and says it is a much more intense orgasm that usual.

Cleaning was extremely easy with hot water and antibacterial soap and had no nasty after-smell. He also insisted that I add to my review the ability to take it on a plane. It has no metal (or otherwise detectable materials) and is discrete... it's not likely anyone would guess what it was while looking through your bag. If someone did find it he could say it’s mine… who wouldn’t believe it?
Follow-up commentary
I got this for my boyfriend a while ago, after he began expressing interest in anal play. It's now on the smaller side of what we play with, but has become a staple for him. It's always a good starter tool for bigger toys, and still offers more intense orgasms. We look forward to trying some of the other shapes!

Good first review. As a fairly recent arrival myself I can tell you the community here is great!

For EF staffers...is this another (like the other pacifiers in the series) that should be moved into the silicone rating rather than the TPR? Or should California Exotic really provide some support to the 100% silicone labelling?

Hmm. I think you meant P-spot not G-spot. Also, you might want to differentiate that this is the Teardrop shaped Pacifier. The original Pacifier is a little different.

I do not have a P-spot but this looks intriguing even to me!

Thanks Adriana Ravenlust, your absolutely right! We used this on HIS P-spot not my G-spot.

This was my first official review, so I really appreciate the constructive comment. Blush

Welcome to EF, not bad for your first review! You should also mention that this toy has virtually no chance of being lost inside due to its design.

I agree spicywife! This toy exclusively belongs to my boyfriend. He is never shy with it, it doesn't freak him out and I don't even think it would bother him too much if a guest saw it on the nightstand!

Masculine is the PERFECT way to describe this one...not that being gay or feminine is bad (trust me, we don't mind over here), but if you have a man who is interested in anal play but doesn't want to come off or feel that way, this is perfect.

A GREAT review! I'm in the same boat, with a straight boyfriend that already loves anal play, but no woman would do it before I did.

  • Comfort level of hard (plastic) "prostate massager"?
    • I'm looking for a comparison between this and say the softer silicone anal toys (ie. "butt hungry").
    • For a first toy, I'd probably pick a more gentle-looking shape. I was fine with a hard toy at first, but it was the Pure Plug (like a really smooth strawberry-shape). Also I'm kind of against putting lower-rated materials in there, I stick to glass, metal, and silicone for anal toys.

That says TPR Silicone, which I believe is fairly flexible. If you're looking for a hard toy, I think something like the Emerald Explorer looks best (it's $25 and glass).

Well the silicone ones are more comfortable for me personally, but I find most of my guy friends prefer jelly. I think the hard plastic ones just create too many pressure points.
