Alumina Revolve - dildo sex toy by Tantus - review by Polyserena

To start with, this really beautiful toy is a part of the Alumina line of toys by Tantus. By buying other toys from this line you may create a new toy by swapping the halves of the toys- this seems like great option to me especially since I'm now inclined to buy more from this range.


TEMPERATURE PLAY
The temperature on a comfortable day is just cool to the touch. This is extremely pleasurable and the way I use it most often. But those times I’ve been organised enough to get myself a receptacle full of ice and water to dip it in, it exceeded my expectations by far. It’s fairly simple; by dipping it for just seconds in the icy water, it cools to a wonderful temperature and then I dry Revolve on a clean towel before using it. That clean towel is also of great help in preparation for female ejaculation if that applies to you. I previously associated cold metal with gynaecological medical instruments, but the sensation the Revolve provides is far from uncomfortable. Strangely it also feels very similar when it has been heated greater than body temperature under the tap (beware it will get just as hot as the tap water you are using though -and fairly quickly). In my opinion it does not have the opportunity to excel nearly so well at body temperature as it does at even slightly hotter or cooler, but I only had the opportunity to notice this once on an extremely hot day when I hadn’t bothered to cool it.


DESIGN
The amazing temperature abilities of the Revolve are due to the fact that this is solid aeronautical grade aluminium: pure quality. Other advantages of this material are that this it is very hard and smooth. Hardness, or at least firmness, is a well recognised factor contributing to a good g spot toy. The smoothness of the amazing purple(and scratch resistant) anodised coating means that only a small amount of lubricant is necessary. At times lube is arguably not necessary at all, but a little lube does add to the sensation. There is also an o-ring separating the two solid halves of aluminium that screw together.


CARE
I use soap and water on mine, reassured by its smooth surface. But Revolve is also dishwasher safe, can be cleaned with a 10% bleach solution, and may be boiled to sterilise...just don’t let it burn you!


G- spot
I really like a slow thrusting with this toy while reclining on my back. No need for a super controlled firm grasp, the tips of the fingertips and thumb do just fine holding the well designed three bulbed end. The symmetry of the toy means it can be rotated or twirled without it completely mucking up that perfect position of the toy. There is nothing difficult about the Revolve, for me there was no learning curve to conquer although I was familiar with my g spot before I started using the Revolve. I use the g spotting end (single bulb) end most often, but I do often alternate the ends of the Revolve because they do both create such unique sensations and it prevents me from getting bored with just one sensation. Most times I have used it I have ejaculated, though I learned first with my fingers. But, it feels better than my fingers and the pleasure is more prolonged. This toy is quite gentle on my g spot, it feels initially like it is just teasing it.


Partner/sensual
Partner play is superb. When I received this toy, I used it to cool down the skin on my partners back as my city was in the midst of a ferociously hot streak of weather. He loved it. The temperature play is so sensual. Its symmetry is likely to mean that it will be one of the toys I will get my boyfriend to use on me sometimes, since to me it feels far more intuitive to use than those with a g spot bend.


Anal
Well, I have actually not tried anal play with this, but may as I get more adventurous. It’s bulbed design would make it suitable for anal play, but unfortunately I can’t comment on the best way to go about it.
