The Pleasure Plug by Doc Johnson is an anal butt plug. This product is meant to be worn in the anus alone or during sex or masturbation. This product would be good for beginners as a starter or for advanced users as a warm-up toy. This toy can be worn just about anywhere that you feel comfortable wearing it. To use this toy, you apply a liberal amount of lube and insert it into the anus. You can also thrust this plug if you choose to do so. The plug has a rounded tip and flares out at the base.

The plug is made out of rubber, which rates a 3 on the EF material safety scale. This toy has no smell or taste. It is veined slightly, and if you've ever had anything textured shoved up your ass, you know that it can feel very exaggerated. With that being said, beginners should approach this plug with caution because it may hurt or scare some people. The plug is very plush and squishy so it takes a little effort to get it inserted, but once it is, it is very comfortable to wear.

The plug comes only in beige. I think it would be nice for the company to produce this toy in a variety of colors. I was a little apprehensive about buying a realistic plug because I know the veins can feel exaggerated when used anally, but to my surprise, once I relaxed enough for it to be inserted, the texture was amazing. The plug is 4 inches in length and can be inserted 3 1/2 inches. The circumference of the plug is 5 3/4 inches and it weighs 0.4 pounds.

This plug is great because it has an extremely rounded head on it. The only downfall to this product is that if you've never used a butt plug before, you may have trouble inserting it because of its flexibility. You may be able to use this in a harness if you have one that has adjustable rings.

This product cannot be boiled or ran through the dishwasher, so your only option for cleaning is soap and water or a toy cleaner. If you plan on sharing this plug, I would recommend using a condom because the material is very porous. You can use either silicone- or water-based lubes with it but make sure you don't put any form of oil (e.g. oil based lube, massage oil, exc.) on it. I would also recommend storing the plug in something like a Ziploc bag because it does attract dust and fuzz.
