Pleasure plug - butt plug by Doc Johnson - review by Red Riding Hood

Well, ladies and gents. After a long wait, I have finally returned to review this product. Due to complications at home, I have been away from the computer. However, this did give me a chance to become more acquainted with my new friend, the Pleasure Plug. This is, just as it states: A butt plug. With the flared base and shorter size, you can plug it in and leave it. That said, there's nothing that says you can't use it more like a standard dildo, either. There are a couple things to keep in mind, which will be addressed later. It's BEST used as a standard plug, but does give a nice full feeling. Great when used with other toys/forms of pleasure. I would say this is best for someone with experience in anal play as it seems a bit bigger. But for those who know what they like, it's a great product. Aside from it's size, it seems like a great, safe product for almost anyone. It's pliable, has a great flare and stays put.

This product is made out of a flexible, but firm rubber that has a bit of give, but stays firm enough for easy insertion and is comfortable during use. It does have a strong smell initially. It's a bit rubbery and a bit fruity. It doesn't smell like a bag of rubber bands or anything, but it's also something that needs a few washings to fade. It's not SUPER off-putting.

This toy looks pretty realistic and feels real if you brush your fingers along the surface. However, it doesn't have the same give as real skin would, so as soon as you press your fingers into the material, you can tell for sure that it's not real. It does have a lovely texture, though. It's not plushy in the least, but does bend with enough pressure.

Do keep in mind that it is porous and can harbor bacteria.

The design is a realistic design that has a flared base for safe anal insertion. The head is tapered nicely and isn't too bulbous, but just enough to allow for great insertion and pressure in the right spots. The length is perfect for anal use, but some women may prefer longer lengths for vaginal use. I thought it was perfect. It's just thick enough, without it being painfully so.

This toy delivered pleasure for a decent price. It offers a nice full feeling that is easy to use and insert. I love the shape and texture of this product. I don't care for the material, but you do get what you pay for and of course silicone is more expensive. But for what it is, it feels nice. It has no suction cup and although I think a suction cup would make this toy more fun, I also think that it would cancel out the entire point of the product, which is to use it as a plug.

As this is a rubber toy, it will be hard to clean. As always, condoms are suggested for safety and ease of care. I always clean my toys before and after use, just in case anything sticks to the toy in storage or while being moved about. I rinse really well with very warm-hot water (but not hot enough to damage the toy) and then clean with a mild soap or toy cleaner. I rinse the product really well and store it in it's plastic clamshell case. You can use a cloth bag as long as the dye doesn't rub off, but that will most likely make lint stick to the toy. I would suggest a plastic bag instead.

As far as using it with other lubes, you'll want to use it with a water-based lube. Silicone can warp the toy and end your fun pretty fast.

This comes in a clamshell-style package with the usual Doc Johnson card with some product details. Nothing fancy, but it's certainly not tacky. There are no directions included, because I guess they assume you need none with a product that doesn't require batteries. You could store the product in this, but it's nothing fancy enough to be displayed or presented as a gift box.
