Pure plug medium - butt plug by Njoy - review by Kayla

After purchasing the Njoy Pure Plug small, we realized that Jor actually found it a little too small for his use. (For your information, Jor's pretty much an anal beginner and really doesn't like anything over one inch in diameter. So he's not a fan of large sizes. The small version is just pretty small.) Thus, we decided we'd go ahead and purchase the Medium version and see how much more he liked it.

The Njoy Pure Plug Medium is made from stainless steel like all Njoy products. It has a diameter of one inch and a fourth which is only slightly larger than what Jor is used to, and the length is a little over three inches with insertable length being an inch less. The little plug comes with a nice bulb-like head where most of the weight is at. With the bulb-like shape, there's a handle that slowly goes down in girth as well as a small oval-like handle that makes retrieval possible.

Like other Njoy products, this comes in a gorgeous package. There's an outer half-box that's white that slips off of the actual black, sturdy box that opens up to contain the plug. The box is Styrofoam covered in gorgeous pink silk to protect the plug, and this box will most certainly keep your plug very safe. I use all of the NJoy boxes as my method of storage for them.

Use was pleasurable. For comparison, the boyfriend's favorite anal toy is the Bootie because he loves the length, the small size, and the silicone flexibility. This, to me, seems about like the metal version of the Bootie. It has a small length, decently small size, and although it doesn't have the silicone flexibility, it has some nice weight to it that makes more pleasure possible than with the light-weight Bootie.

During use, Jor said he really did enjoy the sensations. He said that he could easily feel when it was in, and despite him cleaning the apartment, he said it didn't feel like it was slipping out at all. We used it with silicone lubricant, and during his two-hour stint of cleaning, he didn't feel like it was dried up or getting painful at all. He said the weight of the plug felt really pleasurable, and it gave him some nice sensations that he wasn't used to feeling. Plus, he just likes things in his butt. But that's besides the point.

The only complaint we have is that, just like the small Pure Plug, when sitting down on hardwood/metal chairs, the handle can feel a little bit uncomfortable because it pushes up against you. This isn't by any sort of a product defect - Jor is just pretty tiny, and thus, doesn't have the butt-padding to make it less of a problem. The problem does go away if he sits on a padded chair or the couch, though. If he's not sitting on a hard surface, he says he can't even feel the handle of the plug at all - it's just comfortable.

So how does it compare with the small? He says the medium feels much more filling than he was expecting. The small felt really pleasurable, but this makes him feel more like he's "full" and not just "has something up his butt". The weight is a bit more than with the small, and he feels like this one makes more of a "presence" than the small plug does.

To clean it, we just use warm water and some antibacterial soap, but it can also be boiled to sterilize it. I recommend being careful with dropping it into the pot though - it's just heavy. This anal plug is compatible with both water-based and silicone-based lubricant, and for storage, I like to keep mine in the original box.

So how do we feel about the medium size? It's good. He enjoys wearing it around the house while doing chores or just playing video games. He says it gives him pleasure without much effort on his part, and he's been enjoying wearing it. He says he'll still be wearing the Bootie when he goes out and about since it's easier to drive with and everything, but the Pure Plug Medium will be a special treat for just at home. Jor still likes small-diameter toys, so if you are split between the medium and the small and have had some anal experience with other toys in the past, I'd say go up to the medium instead of down. The medium is much more of the "average" size of a plug - the small is pretty small for a plug.
