Pure plug medium - butt plug by Njoy - review by NuMe

I hate having to be the dissenter, the bearer of bad news, the party pooper, but the Njoy medium pure plug did not work for me. Which really breaks my heart! I so wanted to love this plug. I wanted to have that beautiful piece of shiny, medical grade stainless steel massaging and exciting my ass. And I so wanted the cute little oval ring handle to snuggle in between my cheeks as I went about my day, or during playtime with hubby.

I was so excited when my medium pure plug arrived. This wasn’t my first Njoy toy, I also have the Fun Wand. So I knew that it would come beautifully packaged. Unfortunately my box was broken a bit, but I’m sure that was from transportation. Anyway, I opened the black box and saw this beautiful little plug, perfectly nestled in pink satin. It was as shiny as a mirror. And when I lifted it out I immediately noticed it’s significant weight. The medium plug weighs one pound. And the thought of putting that shiny, weighty toy in my ass was just too much for me to wait any longer.

So I grabbed my bottle of Maximus lube and disappeared into the bathroom. I very quickly learned that a little is a lot when it comes to lubing up a stainless steel butt plug and that you have to be careful not to get it on the handle. It wanted to keep slipping out of my hands when I tried to insert it. Well, everything went perfectly, at first. I found the teardrop shape of the head very easy to insert, and the neck was thin enough and had just the right amount of curve. It felt great and not the least bit uncomfortable. Everything was perfect, until I took my hand away. The plug immediately dropped and the neck and handle were hanging very low. I thought I must be doing something wrong, it actually had only gone past one set of muscles. I must need to push it in further. But it wouldn’t go any further. Nothing I tried worked. I tried turning it around, inserting it with me in different positions. But no matter what I did, it just fell again, which was uncomfortable, and it kept feeling like it was going to fall all the way out. So I gave up on that first attempt but decided I would try again later when hubby and I made love. Which actually turned out even worse. I mean, it felt awesome inside me while we were having sex. That is, until it popped out right in the middle of everything. That did not make me happy one little bit! I tried it several more times before I finally gave up for good. Alas, the Njoy Medium Pure Plug was not for me.

Let me say, that I do know this toy works wonders for almost everyone else. I just want everyone to know that there are a few for which it does not work.

Ok, enough about me, on to the stats.

The Njoy Medium Pure Plug is made of medical grade stainless steel. Which is wonderful for temperature play. Just put it under hot or cold running water for a bit and you’re good to go. Be careful though that you don’t heat it too much because it is very temperature sensitive. And even if you don’t run it under warm water, it will warm to the body very quickly. It is 3 1/4 inches long, 2 1/4 of those are insertable. The diameter of the widest point of the teardrop shaped head is 1 1/4 inches. I wouldn’t consider that large or small, more like just right. It might be a little too big for a beginner, but with sufficient warm up I think even a beginner could handle it. Also, since you can only insert it 2 1/4 inches, it might not be long enough to hit most men’s P-Spots. But the shape of it is perfect should it be the right length. This plug is very easy to insert or remove. Basically it just pops right in and pops right back out. Unfortunately in my case, it popped back out when I didn’t want it to.

As I said previously, you need very little lube with this due to it’s extremely smooth surface. Cleaning is a breeze, just warm soap and water is all that is needed. Do be careful not to scratch the beautiful shiny finish. And you might want to polish it dry with a soft cloth to keep the finish looking nice. You can sterilize this by boiling it in water for 3 minutes or running it through the dishwasher.
