Pop Pop Pop that Pussy!

This toy was just what I was looking for for my wife. Bulbs to drive her nuts, glass so it is safe, and a great price that won't break the bank. Add in easy insertion and a large bulb on the end which was a great handle, and there is nothing bad to say about it. Except that it was rude and bumped the Amethyst out as the top glass toy in our collection.

Use

After receiving our first glass toy, and my wife absolutely loving the bulbs on the Amethyst, I have been searching for the perfect bulbed glass toy that would be slightly larger, but provide her multiple bulbs in a row. Since there are so many glass toys on Eden, it took me a while to read enough reviews and find just what I was looking for. I was varying between a few toys, the Emerald Explorer, the Violet Wonder, the Icicles No. 2, and finally the Sapphire Falls. I ultimately settled on the Sapphire Falls, because it was only slightly larger, and it had the perfect length. Not too short where she wouldn't get to enjoy the larger bulbs without having her cervix hit (Icicles No 2), and not too short where I wouldn't have anything to hold on to (Violet Wonder). This might be able to be used anally, since the base has the largest bulb, but I would be nervous about a greedy ass pulling it all the way in, and we don't plan to use it anally anyways.

Material / Texture

The Sapphire Falls is made out of borosilicate glass. This is the same stuff that your pyrex kitchenware is made out of, so it is very safe and great for temperature play. Since it is made out of glass, it is totally firm and unyielding. For partner play, you must exercise caution to make sure the cervix doesn't get bruised, or that the toy doesn't slip out and ram something else on the way back in. But it is great for temperature play. My wife and I haven't experimented with this yet, but you can either cool this down in ice or cold water, or heat it up under warm water for different feelings. Either way, make sure that the temperature isn't too extreme, so you don't burn yourself, or get the toy stuck to your body until it warms up. I still stick with the don't go from temperature extremes, but if you recently saw Dwtim's videos about glass, you can see that neither toy broke going from hot to cold or vice versa.

The Sapphire Falls is a very smooth glass toy, except for the designed bulbs along its entire length. The first bulb is the largest, then there are two sets of three bulbs each the same size, but getting smaller than the base bulb. Also due to the glass material, it is safe to use water, silicone, or oil based lube with it. However, if you use silicone lube, you cannot use a silicone toy afterwards in the same orifice without potentially damaging the toy. And if you plan to use oil based lube, you need to stick the toy only in the ass because the vagina doesn't play well with oil. This is why my wife and I stick with water based, and the reason we threw out our silicone based lube a few months ago.

Design / Shape / Size

The Sapphire Falls is made out of borosilicate glass, and it has a very nice dark purple shade to it. The only time light will reflect through it is if you hold it up to a light, otherwise it is almost black. The toy has a slight curve to it, and measures from tip to tip a total of 6 1/2 inches. At what I consider the base, is the largest of the bulbs, and it is 1 5/8 inch across. The next three bulbs come all in the same size, at 1 3/16 inch. The last three bulbs, or top of the toy, are the smallest at 1 1/16 inch. The bottom three bulbs make up 2 5/8 inch of the toy, with the last three smallest bulbs making up 2 3/8 inch. The base bulb of the toy has a slight imperfection that could almost be a flat spot for resting this toy, but it won't stand upright.

Performance

This toy performed perfectly for my wife, and it almost has surprised me with how easy she took it in and how much she really truly did enjoy it. Due to the small first three bulbs and being glass, with just a little bit of lube, this slid right in. And because the next bulbs aren't that much larger, I was able to quickly get up to speed without having to take a lot of baby steps in warm up. Since it is made out of glass, I made sure to only use a small amount of water based lube to prevent the lube from going everywhere, and possible getting down towards my hand grip on the largest bulb. I had no problem with gripping it or the toy being uncomfortable. I am eager to try the largest bulb for some G-spot action, but when I brought it up, my wife just gave me a "we'll see." It would of course have to be after a lot of warm-up, but I don't see the largest bulb being so large where it would be a problem. And this would be more of a rocking action with it in, not a thrusting action.

Care and Maintenance

I love toys that are fully sterilize-able, since it allows for switching between orifices, and since my wife has quite a few allergies. That is why all of our toys right now are made out of silicone, stainless steel, or borosilicate glass. Recently we have been expanding our glass toy collection, and it has been a great addition. Besides accidentally dropping the toy from large heights (which Dwtim proved isn't always fatal), glass toys are really safe and easy to care for. If it is a simple cleaning after a session with a vagina, like the other day, I just wash it with warm water and anti-bacterial soap. You can also do a more thorough cleaning, for either switching between partners or orifices, with a 10% bleach solution, boiling it for 3 to 5 minutes, or placing it on the top rack of the dishwasher with no soap. Due to the bulbs on this toy, some extra juices can get stuck between them, even with focusing on that area during soaping. A few q-tips will reach in those seams easily and get the rest of the junk out, and then a quick drying off and the toy is ready for storage.

Packaging

Since this is our third glass toy from SSA Glass, I was not at all surprised or dissapointed when I saw the packaging for this toy. Well actually, I was a little bit surprised. The other two toys from them came in a thin little red bag, with a pull top that doesn't quite fully close. But the Sapphire Falls came in a black bag, which is the same thickness and design, with the glass toy wrapped in bubble wrap on the inside. This actually works well for us, because we now have a black bag (holding our Gold Laced G), a red bag (holding our Amethyst), and a purple Eden Fantasys bag (holding the new top dog in our glass toy collection, the Sapphire Falls)!
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage

Experience

The first time I used this, I made sure I warmed up my wife do to all the bulbs along this toy. It didn't take much until she was ready and eager for this toy, and with a little bit of lube just on the first bulb, it slide right in. Before I got to full speed ahead though, I inserted the toy all the way to the second to last bulb, to make sure at this point it wouldn't hit my wife's cervix. It didn't, so I was able to use the full length of the toy, and more importantly, the middle sized bulbs. With a very nice thrusting motion, making sure to go from smallest to middle sized bulbs, my wife had a great orgasm. The toy alone would have been sufficient she said, but she wanted me to tongue her clit as well, and this just pushed her over the edge to a very strong orgasm. She quickly declared that this was her favorite glass toy out of the three that we own, quickly pushing the Amethyst off of its throne. All Hail Sapphire Falls!
Follow-up commentary
This is still my wife's favorite glass toy. The other two don't even stand a chance. She loves the bulbs as they come in and out, and it is easy to hold onto the large bulb at the end. It is a little difficult to clean between the bulbs, but nothing that I am upset about. What a great toy!
