Pretty Purple Probe
If you are new to the world of anal play, this is a good place to start your experimentation. It inserts so comfortably, cleans easily, and has a nice handle to grip on to. I would give it four and a half stars for lack of pure silicone.Published: June 10, 2009

The Sunny Leone Renegade is part of Doc Johnson's Radiant Gems Collection. It's a unique looking probe that doesn't scream "ass toy" if happened upon accidentally.
It’s a one inch in diameter, 7 inch long TPR probe. If you turn it upside down you can see the whole inner core is a jelly like substance. The inner core is a transparent core wrapped in the purple metallic layer. The packaging calls it sil-a-gel, so you can be sure its not all silicone, its mostly a jelly. It smells like jelly too. It’s very flexible, but not so flexible that it needs to be stuffed into your okole puka (Hawaiian for ass hole).
I coated this with a giant blob of water based lube, and had no trouble at all inserting it into my okole puka. It was comfortable. I could rotate and thrust while holding onto the handle. You get about 5 inches of insertable length, and two inches to hold on to. I suggest you hold on to it because the base is not flared or rippled, and it is not wide enough to stop it from taking a curious journey to the center of your colon. The insertion end has little bloopy things stacked up for added sensation, on insertion and removal.
I didn't feel any fireworks, but it was ultra comfortable and a great size for a beginner. It was not irritating, was just the right amount of flex, and is pretty inexpensive. I washed it a few times in scalding water, antibacterial liquid soap, and toy spray, and the wrapped it in a Bounty paper towel, and stuck it in a plastic bag.
The Renegade may be a simple inexpensive toy, but it looks and feels like a pricier item. It is so unassuming that you could put it in a suitcase for travel, and you would not get looked at by the inspector as a perv.

I enjoyed it. I think it will come out of its plastic bag rather regularly for playtime.

I still play with this slim little probe. It's perfect for tight assed anal retentive folks like me (beginners). I find it very soothing. I get bored of toys pretty easily, I still find this one a lot of fun.

The words "giant blob" turned me off to this whole toy for some reason. Nothing to do with your review but because then I had to take a second look and realize my reaction was, "Eh, no thanks." Good review.
Is the base flared enough to prevent accidental slipping into places it doesn't belong??

The base is not flared, hold on tight. Especially if you are heavy handed with lube (that sounds more appealing than "giant blob". Actually in Hawaiian hospital terms a "giant blob" would be "choke full". "Give me a choke full of KY so I can check the cervix." Be wary of practioners who are stingy with their lube.
