Dr. Joel Kaplan's prostate probe sex toy review

I felt that the toy was too long and the nodules somewhat unnecessary; however, I had a fantastic orgasm using the toy. So if you are an anal expert or an adventurous person, I would highly recommend this toy with four stars.

When I first found out that I would be reviewing Dr. Joel Kaplan's Prostate Probe, I was a little scared. Being somewhat new to anal play, this would not have been my first choice in toys. However, using this toy was quite pleasurable. In fact, it was great, and I look forward to using it more. There is not doubt in my mind that this toy is mean looking, but it didn't feel mean.

I was somewhat disappointed in that I didn't really feel any prostate interaction. Though the toy is called a Prostate Probe, it seemed like to me it was just glorified anal beads, which felt amazing none the less.

For me, the most satisfaction came during the removal of the toy near climax, just like anal beads. This isn't to say that the insertion wasn't pleasurable, just the removal sky rocketed me over the top. The definition of prostate toy usually involves a curved, bulbous toy that vibrates. This probe doesn't seem to really fit that category.

As with any anal toy, lube and preparation is key. If you are new to the anal experience, I would strongly suggest investing in an anal douche or in the least a bulb syringe and using it with warm water. Good lube, and plenty of it, is always key as well. This toy has almost a six inch insertion length and several beads, the largest one being about an inch and a half give or take a little. Each of the four beads is covered in little nodules that make the insertion a little difficult but nothing unmanageable. The silicone that the toy is made out of is kind of flimsy. So the first bead needs help, but after that, the benefits of silicone outweigh the slight trouble of the first insertion.

I would only recommend this toy to the anal newcomer if they were very adventurous. I felt that the toy was too long and the nodules somewhat unnecessary; however, I had a fantastic orgasm using the toy. So if you are an anal expert or an adventurous person, I would highly recommend this toy with four stars. If you are a person totally new or not completely comfortable with your partner enough to tell them to slow down, this toy may not and probably is not for you.
