First off, I am not a big anal play person. These beads only added to my desire to keep away from anal contact. Made by the California Exotics company, these beads are not something I would recommend to anyone, especially those that are not into anal play. They are inserted anally and slowly moved in and out. This toy can be used by yourself or with a partner. If you have never used anal beads before, then these are a great starter set but my personal experience was not what I was expecting. I used lubrication when using these beads, however, I was only able to make it up to the 5th bead before I could not handle what felt like a strong pressure and had to remove them. I did try slowly thrusting them almost like you would a dildo, but even that was not a comfortable experience for me. I would not recommend fast hard thrusting, as this may cause pain or the beads to be forced in too fast or far.

This toy is made from Phthalates free PVC. PVC is water resistant and does not require a ton of maintenance. PVC also has a somewhat soft and smooth, but firm feeling to it. It weighs in at an 8 on the safety scale. If you squeeze the beads, they have a flexible very slight squishy feeling to them. The beads are also flexible and can be bent and manipulated in a lot of different ways. The smell of the beads upon opening the package was that of a strong plastic or rubber. They had a similar smell to that of a 25 cent bouncy ball. They really didn't have a taste to them and I strictly tasted them (before use) for review purposes. The fact that this toy is made of PVC and is flexible definitely helps when it comes to using the product. You can angle the beads to help fit right, rather then trying to put a circle in a triangle hole. I think these beads are for beginners to more advanced users. I am on the beginner end of this type of toy and found it easy to use due to the flexibility of the toy, although I was not fond of the feeling what so ever. For me, I felt like I had to poop when using these beads and I had trouble keeping the beads in long enough to find out if that was what was going to happen or not.

The extreme pure gold anal beads have your average anal bead look. They come in 2 colors, gold and silver. There are 10 beads that taper from small to large. Each bead increases in size by about double the size of the bead before it. Each bead is about 1/2" apart and the total length of the toy is 12 3/4". At the very end of the beads there is a hoop that you use to hold onto the beads and manipulate them with. The measurements of the product are as follows:

For me, the ring at the top was very helpful when understanding how my body would take to these beads. It is easy to grasp and move the beads as needed with this ring. The beads themselves, being smooth and with some added lubrication, slid in rather easy. Like I mentioned above, being someone who is not into anal play that much, it was still hard for me to get used to using this type of toy. I was uncomfortable in trying these beads out and I was very intimidated by them. For me, the size of beads after the first 4 or 5 became way to much for me to handle. As for the first couple that I inserted, it wasn't too bad other then the pressure and feeling of having to poop. For those that are into anal play though, this would make a good beginner set of beads due to the tapering method that wasn't too bad from one bead to the next. This toy is easy to stick in a suitcase but cannot be hid in a purse or a pocket. For someone who doesn't know what anal beads are, they might think of them as just a child's toy, but of course this is not the case. Both men and women can enjoy this product.

I honestly can say I found very much good in this toy for my personal experience. As for the toy itself, it has a lot of good qualities such as the material it is made of. The fact that it is smooth but firm and that it is easy to use. As for me, I didn't enjoy this toy. I am not an anal play person and even with the texture and material, I could not get into it. I even tried having my husband use the beads on me while I used a small bullet on my clitoris and even that did not help ease up on my comfort level. It did perform as it should though, I would assume. Just because I had a bad experience with them does not mean that someone else wouldn't enjoy them. I didn't get the pleasure from them as someone else might, but the product is made well and can be used appropriately. When I went to use this product, I gave it the benefit of the doubt hoping it would work out better for me than it did.

Due to the material this product is made of, it is very easy to store and take care of. All you need is some warm water and antibacterial soap or some toy cleaner. I had no issues with lint or this toy sticking to anything. Even when adding lubrication, soap and water cleaned my toy with a breeze. The best lubricants for this toy are silicone and water based lubricants. The beads, although a little on the long side, are easy to store. I keep all of my toys in a locked file cabinet. I kept the box for this toy because it made storage for me easier. Due to the fact that this toy bends rather easily, it can be stored in a drawer or just about anywhere.

The Extreme pure gold anal beads product comes in a clear see through plastic card. The front of the package has a woman on it and the name of the product. The back has the same woman and name of the product, as well as a warning stating the product is for novelty and external use only. Most products come with this same warning. The packaging is easy to open. Simply pull the card open at the top, and the product is ready to be removed. I didn't find this packaging to be discreet at all, due to the fact that you can see the product.

My personal experience, as I have mentioned above, was not a good one. I did not like the product or the way it made me feel. Although the material it is made of it is of good quality, its performance for me was not that of pure gold or outstanding. It wasn't even good for me. Along with the pressure and the feeling of having to poop, I don't think I will be trying or playing with anymore anal toys for a while. While I wouldn't recommend this toy, anyone willing to give it a try is braver then I!
