Pure Plug Medium is Purely Fantastic

The njoy Pure Plug medium is a steel butt plug that really is as good as everyone makes it sound. The weight of the head feels amazing when inserted. The handle is easy to grab and move. The curve of this plug is perfect for P-spot stimulation, or even G-spot stimulation through the anal wall! It's comfortable to have in during sex, during solo sessions, or just while doing your everyday stuff. The steel makes it safe for long term wear. Overall, this is a fantastic plug.

Use

The Njoy Pure Plug is an amazing plug that anybody could use. It is comfortable, safe for long term wear, and gorgeous. Plugs are used anally and can provide that "full" feeling that many people enjoy.
This plug has many fun uses. For you men out there, the curve of this and bulbous head can provide amazing P-spot stimulation. The weight of this definitely helps out with that as well because of the pressure it applies. Similar stuff goes for you ladies as well! Many plugs, but to me especially this one because of it's weight, can give you G-spot stimulation through the anal wall.

This can be worn while having fun with a partner, or by yourself. It can be a lot of fun to have in during intercourse, for either sex. For males, the P-spot stimulation while having sex or during masturbation could drive you wild. And if you're with a lady that has a Pure Plug in, there's a good chance you'll be able to feel pressure on your penis through the anal wall.
This is a great plug for a female to have in during sex or while masturbating as well. Whether you want double penetration, or just the feeling of the plug in you while having clitoral stimulation, all the sensations can feel amazing.

Using the Pure Plug while solo isn't only fun while masturbating, but the comfortable handle makes this great to have in you for a length of time. Material / Texture

The Pure Plug is made out of medical-grade stainless steel, and has many amazing qualities. Since it's steel, it's latex and phthalates free. It is hypo-allergenic and non-porous. All of these safety features make this a fantastic plug for long term wear, as I mentioned earlier. The steel will never corrode or degrade.
Steel may seem cold at first, but you can run it under hot water to warm it up. Also, after inserted it warms up quickly and retains your body temperature very well. If you want it cold and it's not, you can put it in the fridge or run it under cold water.

This has no smell and no taste. It's super smooth to touch. My hand just glides over it. Since it's solid steel it is has absolutely no give and is very, very hard. I want to say because of this, it's best for intermediate to advanced users. If you're a beginner and comfortable using this material, this plug is so easy to use and comfortable that it would be okay.

Design / Shape / Size

If there is one plug that is made to fit almost anyone's body and be comfortable, then the Pure Plug is it. It is ergonomic and perfect for anyone no matter what their gender is and what size they prefer (there is a range of sizes in the Pure Plug line).

The curve of the Pure Plug is perfect for P-spot stimulation, or G-spot stimulation through the anal wall. The tapered tip makes insertion super easy, and it's a very smooth transition to the wider, bulbous portion of the head. The neck of the plug starts out wide, then becomes much thinner. The handle is an oval shape that stays between your butt cheeks and is absolutely perfect for keeping the plug from slipping in. It's very easy to grab to put in or take out the plug, or just to move it around while it's inserted. The handle is small enough that for a female it is very unlikely to get in the way during sex.

I have the medium Pure Plug, and it is about an average size. It is 3 1/2" long, with 2 1/2" insertable. There is a 1 1/4" diameter and 4" circumference at the widest point. This is the perfect size for those experienced with anal play, but not quite ready for a toy that is larger than average. It's pretty heavy, and weighs in at 7oz.

While this is a pacifier plug, and not what I'd imagine the average person would imagine a butt plug looking like, it's not very discreet. It doesn't look like anything else though, so I wouldn't leave this sitting out anywhere if you don't want people to see. It's heavy, so it might be tough to travel with, but if weight isn't a problem then it should be fine to travel with because of how small it is.

I wish I could say how well this works for hitting the prostate, but unfortunately I can't. What's great about this toy is how it really is made to fit YOU. It's super easy to insert and take out. It's bulbous head ensures it will not fall out. You can have it in during sex! The weight of this really, really adds to the sensations, whether you're just walking around or using it during sex or masturbation.

Care and Maintenance

The Pure Plug is so easy to clean. It's non-porous so it can be sterilized. You can boil it, put it in the dishwasher, use a bleach and water solution, or just use soap and water. It's really easy to wash it. The directions state to dry and polish it after washing. You can store this just about anywhere, it won't collect lint or hair so you could even just leave it laying around.
You can use any lube you want with this toy.

Packaging

The packaging of the Pure Plug is phenomenal. It comes in a really nice black box with the njoy logo on the top. This comes inside of a simple white cardboard slip with the logo on it as well. Inside the box... Wow. There is a pink satin lining with a spot for the Pure Plug. Under the lining is Styrofoam. The inside of the top of the box is the instructions. The paper unfolds and on one side gives a thank you for purchasing paragraph, and then there is the "care and feeding of njoy toys" section. It is super informative. The other side of the paper is pictures and info about njoy toys.

This box is beautiful and could definitely be used as a gift box. If you're not looking for minimal storage, this is great for storage as long as you dry the toy before putting it back in the box.

Experience

The njoy Pure Plug medium has lived up to all the hype. Ever since first joining Eden (which I found by looking for the perfect butt plug!) this has been THE plug that most people recommend. It's always sounded amazing, but I was a little hesitant about the steel. I went with a less scary choice for a first plug, but wanted more! So I finally chose the Pure Plug. I planned on small, but luckily before ordering, someone pointed out that the medium is about the size of a penis and best for someone experienced with anal play but not wanting a larger toy.
The Pure Plug is all I've heard. It is so easy to use, it is such a simple toy, and it feels incredible. Inserting it was really easy but very cold! But it warmed up quickly though. When shifting around I could feel this perfectly. The weight felt incredible. I definitely felt it against my G-spot, but I don't think it could induce a G-spot orgasm. I had a hard time inserting a toy vaginally with this plug in. During sex it was tough, and my guy could hardly get in there. Once he was in though, it felt so good. He said the pressure was a bit much, but he was a trooper and fucked me anyways.

This did have one downfall for me, but hopefully after using it more it won't be an issue. When using this solo and walking around, the neck would slowly slide out of me and just be sticking out, leaving the large tip in me. I had to wear tight underwear to keep the neck in me. This isn't going to stop me from using it, or trying to wear it long term, but it was the only flaw I found, and it was a personal one.

This has been super easy to clean and care for. I ended up loving the feeling of the steel. I don't know long it will take for me to go back to my silicone anal toy now! I do love it, just as I expected to after hearing so many good things about it.
Follow-up commentary
I had a few tiny problems with this when I first got it, but I've gotten over all of those with more use out of it. I love it way, way more than the "kind of love" I had for it at the beginning. I know there's a lot of people that swear by the pure plugs, and I'm definitely one of them now. This is by far my favorite plug, and one of my favorite toys over all. This plug has held up to everything, and never fails. Pure Plug is a perfect plug!

Awesome review. I've heard so many good things about these but they seem rather expensive to invest in as there are other plugs with the same shape made of cheaper materials. I suppose these are definitely great for longevity of a product, though.

  • Best plug for extended wear?
    • I'm looking to find a plug that's really good for long-term use. You see, I'm planning to go to an event on Halloween, and my boyfriend and I might slip away for some fun. But.. if we don't, we'll be around friends all day, and I want to make sure what I have in is going to be comfortable. I'd rather feel a little naughty and have something in for a good number of hours than to wear something uncomfortable and end up putting it in a napkin or bag for my boyfriend to pocket. (my costume won't have pockets..)

      The Pure Plug Medium is my current choice. It has great reviews, and seems the best for long-term wear for now.

      Any suggestions? Tips? Etc?
    • You know, I have heard that the pure plug medium is a great choice for long term wear, and although I don't have much experience with that particular plug, my only problem with it is the sheer weight of a metal plug. Those that have done it swear it is no problem at all, and you would definitely feel it if that is what you were after...
      Some silicone ones to consider: Tantus' Ryder and Whipspider Rubberworks' Screw (large or small). Have fun!
    • I love to wear the pure plug (both medium and small) for extended periods. It is heavy, though, and you will not forget it's in.

      If you want something lighter, I'd also recommend the Bootie. It's comfortable to wear as well for long periods of time.
