butt plug”, but at the end of the day I can only confirm that the Njoy is the real deal. I don’t think it’s possible to convey how much genuine enthusiasm I have for this toy, and I only hope that my review can do it justice.
I should preface this by admitting I had my reservations about the
“small” butt plug. The online photos always show the small butt plug compared to the larger two in the series and in some ways it seemed like the runt of the litter. I have some experience in anal play and I thought that something
that size couldn’t satisfy me. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
It’s gorgeous visually, but that’s also clear from the online photos. Aesthetics aside, the first thing that struck me is how cold the metal was. I ran it under the tap for a minute and it warmed up very quickly. The second thing I noticed, not surprisingly, was that it is very heavy for its size. That weight lent a certain reassurance to the Njoy - it’s like the toy was telling me, “lie down, baby, and let me take care of you.” Not being one to argue, that’s exactly what I did.
The Njoy’s head is about the size of a hazelnut. Lubricated, it slips into place like a dream. The design somehow invites the sphincter muscles to pull it in and shift it into the proper place. The handle fits very comfortably between your cheeks. It’s big enough that you don’t have to think about whether or not it will slip in deeper, but small enough that it’s not a distraction.
That initial sensation of the Njoy moving into place blew my mind. The shape of the head and the curve of the spine hit absolutely everything. For the first time, I understood how people could climax from anal sex alone. It was a surprisingly delicious set of sensations.
After I began using a dildo and my trusty
Hitachi Magic Wand, the butt plug faded into the background in terms of what I was feeling. At the same time, it was also always, unobtrusively present. With my partner, it was no different (he loved it, too). If I were asked where these sensations were coming from, I wouldn’t have pointed to my butt plug. It being there just made everything so much better.
Although it’s much less dramatic than a mind-blowing orgasm, it is also important to note that removal of the Njoy and its cleaning are a snap.
The Njoy has enhanced beyond recognition what had become my standard intercourse and masturbation routines. It amplified every little sensation and created new ones that I still don’t have a name for. For lack of a better word--wow.

- That's been on my to do list for a while. If you're talking about man/woman sex, the woman definitely feels the penis pressing up against the butt plug (during vaginal penetration). Just from my own experience, the woman doesn't feel anything different when the man uses the butt plug. I bet it would totally blow his mind to feel his penis pressing up against the butt plug inside the woman at the same time he has one inserted inside him.

aag - I have tried doggie style with the Njoy in and it's absolutely amazing. For me it makes everything that I ordinarily do better. I asked my partner how it was for him and he confirmed what you heard. It presses on his penis while he's entering me from behind and it’s a great feeling.
One other thing we tried was taking turns using the Njoy while I was on top. When I had it inserted and was on top of him, I could feel it more easily than I could when he was penetrating me from behind. He could also feel it very easily (which was a very, very good thing for him). I couldn't feel it when I was on top of him and he was using it (no surprise there), but he loved that as well.
It's not something I would have thought of in advance, but the material makes a huge difference. Of course we wanted to wash it between when I was inserting it and when my partner was inserting it. I've spent far too much time scrubbing anal beads and plastic butt plugs not to appreciate how nice it is to be able to do a quick wash. I never would have thought that metal would have been so great for sex toys.
eurydice - It's very good for beginners. In fact, I think I would recommend this over anything else out there when you're starting with anal play.
I've found that a lot of other anal toys just aren't that comfortable for me. Small anal beads leave me wondering "is that it?" Large anal beads are often uncomfortable (rough edges, too long, etc.). Thin butt plugs either slip out or need me to be with a partner to generate any sensation (by him moving it in and out). Larger butt plugs are frequently uncomfortable because of their awkward design.
This is all my personal opinion and none of the drawbacks of these toys have ever been greater than their benefits (because I really, really love anal play), but...
If you're a beginner, I could honestly not recommend a kinder, gentler introduction. This site has some really good information on anal play that you might want to look at. When it comes to toys, though, the Njoy's size and shape are extraordinarily well-suited for the beginner.
What works for me is being very sexually aroused, having my partner gently insert a well-lubricated finger into my anus while I relax and get used to the stimulation, and following that up with the Njoy. Explore a bit and see what works for you.
