Purely Plugable!
I love this plug! It is comfortable enough to wear for extended periods of time and still make its presence felt. If you enjoy a lot of anal play I would probably recommend a larger size, either the large or even the 2.0, I am fairly inexperienced in anal play and found this to be just right.Published: September 17, 2011

This plug is stainless steel with a largish bulb at one end which narrows considerably before flaring out into a flat oval ring. It's super easy to clean. I just use some toy cleaner and water, but if you intend to share it, I would recommend either boiling or the dishwasher so as to sanitize it.
Because the NJoy plugs are made from stainless steel they change temperature very quickly, making them good for temporary temperature play. I usually use mine starting from room temperature so it feels very cool going in but then adjusts itself to my body temperature, making it enjoyable for longer wearing periods. You could also make it warmer and use it that way, just be careful not to overheat it. It could easily get to a temperature to burn! No one wants to be burned on the inside. OUCH!
Since this plug is made of stainless steel it is not giving or flexible at all (though hopefully you didn't need me to tell you that!). I really enjoy the firmness, it makes it very easy to insert and makes its presence known with a firm pressure. Then there is the weight. This plug is hefty, it weighs 1 lb. so it definitely makes its presence felt when wearing it! I love it though! I can wear it for an extended period and feel absolutely no discomfort at all, just a comfortable fullness with some weight. I had no issues with this plug staying where I put it, though due to a curve in the plug I did need to ensure that the curve was facing a certain way to be fully enjoyable. Also I had no issues when sitting on a variety of surfaces. I did notice it more when sitting on a hard surface, but it was not uncomfortable---just noticeable. Though someone with a very small, unpadded butt might have a bit more discomfort on hard surfaces, it shouldn't cause any issues on soft padded surfaces. I also found it to be pleasant when used vaginally. Its shape makes it easy to stay in and not move around much, great for working out your kegels!
The box this plug comes in is beautiful! The outside of the box is black and is very discreet, all it has on it is the word NJoy. Inside is a Styrofoam form covered with pink satin to hold the toy in place. I use the box to store the plug when I'm not using it.

I've read the review's on the Njoy Pure plugs. It sounds great, and it's what everyone keeps recommending, I've noticed. But, I just can't justify spending this much money, even if it is all points and gift cards. We have been very into anal play lately, and I really do want it, but the cost is just killing me, even if I used the 30% buyout price. (I'm super cheap....lol. I always look for a bargain.)
So, I would like this post to serve two purposes:
1: Help me reason with the price. Tell me why it's worth it.
2: How do I know which size to get, if I do get one? -

Best plug for extended wear?

I'm looking to find a plug that's really good for long-term use. You see, I'm planning to go to an event on Halloween, and my boyfriend and I might slip away for some fun. But.. if we don't, we'll be around friends all day, and I want to make sure what I have in is going to be comfortable. I'd rather feel a little naughty and have something in for a good number of hours than to wear something uncomfortable and end up putting it in a napkin or bag for my boyfriend to pocket. (my costume won't have pockets..)
The Pure Plug Medium is my current choice. It has great reviews, and seems the best for long-term wear for now.
Any suggestions? Tips? Etc? -
You know, I have heard that the pure plug medium is a great choice for long term wear, and although I don't have much experience with that particular plug, my only problem with it is the sheer weight of a metal plug. Those that have done it swear it is no problem at all, and you would definitely feel it if that is what you were after...
Some silicone ones to consider: Tantus' Ryder and Whipspider Rubberworks' Screw (large or small). Have fun! -
I love to wear the pure plug (both medium and small) for extended periods. It is heavy, though, and you will not forget it's in.
If you want something lighter, I'd also recommend the Bootie. It's comfortable to wear as well for long periods of time.
