Icicles No. 1 - sex toy by Pipedream - review by Lucky Luna

My favorite thing about the Icicle No 1 is probably the low maintenance. It's not difficult to clean and can even be sanitized in a dishwasher, if you so choose (top-shelf), but that's because I prize ease of use. Anyone else would probably be most interested in how this toy feels. The shaft (which is actually closer to 3.25") is wrapped with a smooth spiral texture that gets me every time. The ridges don't look very extreme, but because the material is a solid and sturdy glass, they have no give, and you will feel every one of them. They are, however, smooth and don't require much lubrication to slide along. Unless this toy gets chipped or broken (in which case you need to not use it!), this will be a great experience every time.

It's also a very classy-looking toy. The glass is a good quality Pyrex that you can trust. I have shown this toy to friends. They were impressed and expressed interest in getting their own.

I'd also like to commend Pipedream on the packaging for this toy. You can't always judge a toy by its cover, but it is the first thing you see and therefore makes an impression. The box is black and white, continuing the classy theme. Also the toy itself is packed in foam, which will ensure that it gets to you all in one piece. A flap on the box can be opened to reveal a window that allows you to view the toy without opening the box, as well. You will most likely want to have a designated place to keep you glass toy(s) to keep them safe. The original box isn't your worst option, to be honest.

There are, of course, a few little things to keep in mind with glass. First and foremost, it will get very slippery with very little lubricant. Second, while you can gently warm or cool it, you should never jump it from one extreme to another. Finally, as this is a material that doesn't give, be careful around your more sensitive tissues. While the glass has no sharp edges, an overzealous thrust can still cause a tear.
