Restraining My Tight Lust Chamber

The Plug der Lust is a good choice for a beginner's plug. It's girthy enough to be comfortably filling, but not so pricey that if you don't like it, it was a waste of money. It's only real downside is that it's not comfortable for extended wear.

Use

This adorable little butt plug would work best in, well, your butt. Its firm silicone has some give, so if you've had a little bit of anal experimentation before, you should have no problems using this. Its small size is pretty unintimidating and its pacifier-esque shape doesn't hurt anything there either. More advanced users might find this to be not enough for them, but most beginners should enjoy this one.

Material / Texture

The Plug der Lust is made of a super firm silicone. It does have a bit of give to it, but is still stiff enough to be able to easily insert. There's a very slight drag to the material that some lube will take care of no problem. The plug appears to have been molded in one shot, with everything seemingly made in one solid piece. There is a small seam that runs down each side of the plug, but doesn't seem to be noticeable in use at all.

I have noticed that it is a bit of a lint magnet and does seem to pick up every stray hair in sight. It does seem to also hold onto scents too. It will pick up the scent of you lube if it's flavored/scented, or your cleaner if it's also scented. If it seems to retain the eau de butt too much to you, you can give it a really good scrub down and leave it out to air out for a few days and that should take care of it.

Design / Shape / Size

The size is good for the more advanced beginner. Not necessarily the first thing for the butt, but if you've played around with a finger or another toy, you should have no problems with this. You can get a whole 2 1/4" inside of you. The tip is tapered, making it easy to insert. It bulges out to about 3 1/2" around before tapering back down to 2 1/2" around at the neck. The little handle you would use for removal stretches a little bit, so you can tug on it. It seems very unlikely to remove itself though. You can easily fit one finger in there up to the second knuckle for easy removal.

It would probably be pretty easy to figure out what this is, so I'd avoid leaving it out unless you absolutely have to.

Performance

Performance was pretty good. It went in, it stayed in. The rounded base isn't all that comfortable between the cheeks, so wearing it for longer than half an hour, 45 minutes or so. It was pretty noticeable while wearing, but not in an overbearing way. Towards the end of the 45 minutes it started to get a little painful. Insertion was pretty easy, and removal was a breeze too.

Make sure to use plenty of lube too, because it's better to use just a bit too much rather than not enough.

Care and Maintenance

Care and maintenance is pretty easy. Make sure to use a water based lube, since silicone based lubes can cause damage to silicone toys. You can wash it off with water and soap, or a more gel based toy cleaner like Climax bursts. I don't recommend using a spray cleaner, since butt toys usually need a bit more cleaning love.

You can store it in the original packaging, since it's not very big. But you could also store it in a smaller toy pouch or a plastic bag. It does pick up lint, so make sure to rinse it off before use.

Packaging

The packaging on this is almost ridiculous, toeing that very fine line between smutty in a good way and just kinda trashy. From the front of the clamshell you see a topless woman posing seductively. Everything on the front is in both English and German, although there isn't much other than the name and the words "The restrainer for your tight lust chamber." The back just gives you the materials, a quick description of the item, the color, and the size in centimeters, but in 8 different languages.

Experience

After trying out my Njoy plug, I thought this would be a breeze. After all, that pound of steel has to be harder to take than this chunk of silicone. I was wrong. This one took more effort to get in, but I didn't mind that. I liked that it was more noticeable while wearing than the Njoy plug was. But after about half an hour, it started to get a little uncomfortable. After another 15 minutes, I caved and ran to the bathroom to remove it.

It's a good plug, and I do definitely recommend it to those that are interested in it.

Interesting review. It looks so small! Shame that it got so uncomfortable so quickly though.

Yeah, it's not the end of the world, but definitely keeps me from wanting to use it most of the time.

  • Mirror, mirror on the wall . . . who is the smallest, least intimidating butt plug of them all?
    • I am completely new to anal play. Well, at least I am almost completely new: I have been attempting to get started for a couple of weeks now since my husband has expressed interest in trying anal sex.

Sadly, however, I have had a difficult time using what many reviewers have deemed as the perfect beginner's butt plug. It seems as though I need something even smaller than the following, all of which I have tried and find either very difficult to insert and/or too uncomfortable to wear for even a short period of time (and, yes, I do use a thick anal lube and try to insert gently and slowly):

Tantus Little Flirt (seems too long for my comfort)

Tantus Ripple (the last bead is too thick in diameter and it also is too long for me to fully insert comfortably)

FunFactory Bootie (the bulged head makes it very painful to insert, even going slowly and gently, and I find it too filling to wear comfortably for long, once it is in)

I am very sad that I am not "progressing" in anal play. Are there any smaller butt plugs out there to help me ease into using -- and hopefully even enjoying -- my *beginner* plugs so that I can eventually work up to trying anal sex?

Ironically, my husband has also just started to experiment with anal play to massage his prostate and he has even been able to use our Nexus G-rider with no problem. I don't understand why I am still stuck at the *pre-beginner* stage!

Thanks for any advice! I appreciate it.

Oh, I forgot to ask if the small Plug of Lust should be easier to use than the Tantus Little Flirt, Tantus Small Ripple, and FunFactory Bootie! Any other suggestions would be most appreciated, too.
    • At that price, the Plug of Lust is tough to beat. If price is not an object, then I might go for the Fun Factory Bootie instead because I think the base is better for long term wear. Another consideration if price were no object would be the Bob pleasure object.
