Review :: Classic Butt Plug Royal
All in all, as someone who enjoys butt play on a regular basis - this one is a keeper. I use the royal on a regular basis for solo and partner play. The smooth exterior makes for an easy insertion whether on my own or with a partner. While at first it was challenging to get this toy fully inserted with practice and time, I got more comfortable. I really enjoy the fullness I experience once inserted and it hits all the right places when shifting my weight around or doing every day chores.Published: February 2, 2012

It took some time, while riding this guy, to take the entire toy inside of myself. I could get almost all the way down the toy and then met resistance at the widest part. After stopping, relaxing, then slipping up and down the shaft again and letting myself get loose, I was able to take all of it. I'm no newbie to butt play and pretty much exclusively sleep with cis-men, so to need to loosen up for this was a bit more than I expected! I had a grin on my face the entire time I was riding the toy. I think I almost enjoyed this guy more than a cis-man - which is saying a lot.

Only if you are used to using penises/dildos/probes as wide as the largest diameter of the plug. otherwise, look for something smaller.

If you are completely new to the anal thing, I'd try something with a thin shaft, like the Njoy Small Plug.

Does anyone find the length on this an issue? Im not sure if everyone is different or what but when i tried this i found it hard to get past the widest girth. I know that it being wide wasn't the issue because i had used a toy slightly wider.

Also, can someone actually take a tape measure and confirm the circumfrence? At this size even a quarter inch makes a difference. -

The picture you've linked is the old style. It was significantly larger than the new one, and had a very flimsy base that has been known to fold up and follow the rest of the toy in to your bum.
As far as I know, you can't find the old one online. Vendor's simply haven't updated the pictures, but it's identical to the white one (which seems to be updated more frequently).
The current model is somewhere between 2, to 2.25" in diameter. It's no where near 2.5"
I was an original owner of the larger model, but was never able to accommodate it's entire girth (I swear it was well over 2.5"). I ended up tossing it during a move, without realizing that it's impossible to find anymore. The new version just doesn't live up to the original, but the sturdy base is a welcomed improvement. -
