Riley - strap-on dildo by Pleasure Works - review by QueerlyRoux

Riley is my Boi Friend. My bestest bestest Boi friend. When Riley arrived in the mail, I had been fumbling around with various poorly-constructed dildos, but then Riley showed up on my doorstep, begging to be played with. He is extremely versatile; strap-on compatible? Yes! Vibrator? Yes! Handheld compatible? Yes again! The flared base makes him easy for a partner to hold, or to use in a harness and the vibrator adds a real kick! The curve of Riley is subtle, but makes self-stimulation much easier, not to mention g-spot stimulation!

Riley is one of the only dildos I've owned that didn't come with an odd taste or smell, the plastic is firm and gives only slightly to the touch. He has a bit of a bend, but not much, making him ideal for strap-on play as it's hard to "accidentally slip out". The product is well made with no seams or marks on the material. The vibrator is small, but packs a decent punch. It is solid, hard plastic and snuggles nicely into the base of the dildo, which has a built-in hole to house it.

The color of Riley is what really drew me to him. The pictures online do not do it justice. It's a beautiful teal, extremely vibrant and very artistic. The shape is elegant with just a slight curve. I like that he's a bit thinner than most models and therefore good for beginners or folks who need less girth. The base is significantly flared, which makes it extra harness compatible. I can use my largest harness ring for Riley without worrying about him falling out. This means that I don't have to change rings around all the time, which can be a huge time suck and not very romantic. Though I have not used Riley anally the flared base might even be wide enough to make for safe anal insertion. The shape also makes for no-mess, no-hassle cleaning, just wipe him down or pop him in warm, soapy water.

I think the one downside is that the vibrator is hard to get out of the base once it's in. This isn't a problem if you want to continuously use it. The vibrator is turned on and off by a button. When the dildo is in a harness, this means a thrust can turn it on or off, which can be frustrating (or fun, depending on your perspective). The vibrator fits in so snugly that it's hard to take out if you want a session without it.

Riley performs beautifully and is now one of my favorite toys. He has a prized place right by my bed! The girth was perfect for me, being someone who needs smaller toys. The curve was just subtle enough to be very pleasurable for g-spot stimulation and make manual self-stimulation easier. The vibrator is stronger than it looks, too! I like that it's very quiet, especially when nestled in the base of the dildo.

Care of the Riley is so easy! So far, the batteries in the vibrator haven't run out, despite heavy use. Since the Riley is silicone, just wipe him down after use with a body-safe toy sanitizer or run him under warm soapy water. Sometimes the hole in the base can be tricky to clean, but then again, body fluids don't really get in there, especially if you're using the vibrator.
