The ripple is an excellent toy for beginners in anal play. The size of it is small enough that it isn't painful at all and it has a great popping feeling as it is pulled out. I used this on my girlfriend and pulled is out as she came and I thought she was going to explode with delight. It is a little flimsy but it once you get the first bead in, the rest follows. I'm not sure it the bottom is supposed to act as a suction cup or not but it does stick somewhat to certain surfaces. The bulges themselves are pretty firm and have a little give to them, although the whole toy is very light.

The appearance of the ripple is quite pleasing. We bought the purple version and it has a kind of metallic shimmer to it. It's made from quality materials. This toy does not seem like it will not rip or tear. It's very smooth and has no seams in it.

We love the size of it. She says it's perfect. The bulges are just the right width with the last one being about the width of my thumb. While there isn't any room between the bulges, you can feel every bulge as it is pulled out. This isn't a toy for anyone who is looking for a full feeling; it's meant for someone who is starting out with anal pleasure. The ripple requires very little lubrication and the gradual ascent to the larger sizes really allows you take things slow and at your own pace.
