Royal? Meh.

Like all Tantus products, the Infinity Royal is well made. Definitely a quality toy with a unique shape. It provides wonderful stimulation, with its bulges, upon insertion yet remains comfortable after insertion, too. May not provide g-spot or p-spot stimulation but definitely gives a full sensation.

extremely useful review
I do believe I have been spoiled by plugs like the bootie, pure plug, pfun and cyberglass perfect p-spot. I just can't seem to get in to standard, straight plugs anymore.

This was the case for me with the Tantus Infinity Plug Royal, for sure. It's a nice plug; well made, 100% silicone, smooth and glossy yet textured with bulges. It should be one of my favorites but, unfortunately, it is not.

The Infinity Royal is a large-ish plug at 5 inches long with a 1.5 inch diameter. Definitely not for the anal beginner, especially as it has a rounded tip rather than a tapered one. For those who are more moderate to advanced level users, however, the size is probably ideal.

It has no real texture since the silicone is typical Tantus style -- smooth, glossy with little drag against the skin. It does have bulges that effectively create a nice, double popping sensation, however. Upon insertion, you get the initial pop from the first bulge, then another as you manage the second.

Wearing the plug is comfortable for short term or during intercourse if your anatomy allows though the base is kind of large and bulky so it's not great for long term use if you're going to be moving a lot and it can get in the way for female bodied folks who have a vagina and anus that are relatively close together.

It has no real curve so I'm not sure how effective it would be at stimulating the p-spot and it doesn't stimulate my g-spot at all - though it does give a nice full feeling. The shaft, while narrow, doesn't taper down so far that you close completely around it, making this a nice plug for warming up to thrusting anal penetration.

Because it's silicone it's totally body safe and can be sanitized when you're finished using it. Boil, bleach or put it in the top rack of your dishwasher and it's good as new. Or simply scrub with soap and warm water if sanitizing isn't necessary.

Do use only water based or oil based lubes with this or, at minimum, do a patch test on the base before using silicone based lube. Silicone lube can sometimes negatively effect silicone toys.

All in all, the Infinity Royal is excellent - if you prefer straight plugs. I think I prefer curved...
Follow-up commentary
The Infinity Plug Royal just... does not work for me.

It's nice. It's high quality Tantus silicone. It's pretty. It just doesn't feel all that great to me. It'll probably last forever, since it's silicone and doesn't have any wear and tear cuz I don't use it. They'll find it, looking like new, in my toybox when I die...

Those who like this shape would probably love it but me? meh. Not so much.

I really like mine still, but it's the largest butt plug I ever tried. And when you mean that you prefer a curved plug, do you mean the Njoy plugs?
  • Contributor: Carrie Ann
Yup, Kytty, plugs like the Njoy ones, the bootie, the lelo bob, the cyberglass p-spot one I have. They just feel better to me.

Great review! I have tried the Tantus tulip plug for long term wear, which has an identical base and after a while it does get VERY uncomfortable. Yeowch. For shorter amounts of time (hour or under?) it is just fine, great even. I hear ya.
