Rumbly Bum

The Geisha Plug is another awesome product by Dorcel. It provides unique sensations completely different than any other plug I've used. The inner ball inside can be closely compared to a kegel exerciser. It bounces around while you move and can be so intense! Good for the inexperienced to anal play or the more well-versed plug user. The only problem I have is the questionable material on the neck and base. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Use

The Geisha Plug is brought to us by the fabulous French company, Dorcel. This plug is designed to be worn in the anus. The Geisha has the flange'd base to prevent it from getting lost in the rectum. They are primarily worn for a short period of time to prepare the anus for anal sex by stretching a relaxing. Men, women and everything in between would find this plug suitable, given the size, flexibility, and materials. For these reasons, it makes for great wear for lengthy periods of time.

This plug is very unique given it's design. The bulb is hollow and there's an inner bead inside that jumps around and creates fantastic sensations with movement. To get the most out of this plug, it's best used during sex. The more movement, the more sensations. But, during solo use, it just acts as any other plug would, unless you're bouncing around during masturbation. The size can be great for a more versed anal toy user, as well as someone just starting to explore. It has a slight taper and rigidity, so it's pretty easy to insert. For those who like plugs for extended wear, this is it. As long as you're up and about, you're gonna feel that ball moving around.

Material / Texture

I like the simple look of the Geisha Plug. Unlike other Dorcel toys, it's black, rather than the vibrant pink we normally see them use. It's listed as 100% silicone which rates as a 10 on the safety scale, but it seems like we might be looking at two different materials on this plug. Dorcel has another Geisha plug that is very similar to this one; the only difference is that it's jeweled. The jeweled one is made of ABS plastic and silicone. So I have my suspicions that this may be the same. I'd like to trust Dorcel because they haven't done me wrong yet, but I have reservations. Silicone is non-porous and hypo-allergenic. The bulb is where it's the softest and seems to be where the silicone is. The neck and base are where, what I believe is plastic, the plastic to be. While the bulb is soft and smooth, the neck and base are much harder. The feel can really be compared to the silicone that Lelo's Ella is made from. So who knows, maybe it is silicone. When you squeeze the bulb, you can feel a harder core underneath which is actually separated.

It's not a seamless toy. There's a seam 1/3 of the way down on the bulb, at the bottom of the bulb and at the bottom of the base. The seams on the bulb can be seen and felt with a finger, but I did not feel it at all when inserted. The seam on the base should be cleaned diligently since it seems like substances could get trapped in there. Aside from the seam, it is very smooth. That makes it very easy to insert.
This toy is completely tasteless and odorless.

Design / Shape / Size

I like the design. I prefer the more bulbous plugs over the slim tapered ones because it adds more stimulation for me, as well as my partner during intercourse. It's very simple, black and sleek. For me, the size is perfect. I've discovered, that a 4 inch circumference is my favorite size for butt plugs. 4 inches was the diameter of my first plug. I've tried all kinds of sizes and I always go back to that. It could also be great for those wanting to delve in to anal play.
Here's some specs:

Length: 3 inches
Insertable length: 2.75
Circumference: 4 inches
Neck circumference: 1.25 inches
Base diameter: 1.25
Weight: 0.2 lb/3.2 ounces

With the pairing of the slim neck and non-flexible wide base, it will be nearly impossible for it to get 'lost'. Since the inner layer of the bulb is plastic, I assume the ball inside has a rubber coating because it's not terribly loud inside. Similar design to most kegel exercisers. It's small enough to store in a little pouch and carry around anywhere. It will fit easily inside a purse.

Performance

I am very happy with the performance of this plug. It's earned a spot in my 'good plug' box. It's easy to insert, it's extremely comfortable and provides stimulation so different than any other plug I have. I was skeptical about the inner bead actually providing any exciting sensations, but I was proved wrong almost instantly. As long as I am moving around, I can feel it. Even more so, during a hot and heavy session with my significant other. It's just the right size so he can feel it pressing against his shaft while he's inserted vaginally, while I'm wearing it anally. The base is also perfect for me, as it doesn't block my other entrance.
And, as far as long term wear, it's a bis yes. The rumbling provides awesome feelings and I can sit on any service without this causing any discomfort. While I can recommend this to beginners and intermediate, I would also recommend this to a well versed user because of the inner ball that creates something totally different. Even though it's rumbly, it can't be heard outside the body, so sound is not a concern.

Care and Maintenance

The Geisha Plug is fairly easy to care for. It can be cleaned with a mild soap and water, or a toy cleaner. I use my favorite California Exotics toy cleaner. I saturate it for about 30 seconds then rinse and pat dry. It can be a lint, dust and hair magnet, so try not to use a towel that sheds too much. Air drying is a good option, too. I also make sure to really clean the base well because of that seam. I would not recommend boiling it or putting it in the dishwasher just in case this isn't completely silicone. If it is plastic, it can melt. Better safe than sorry!
As far as storing goes, I keep it in one of my spare pouches left over from one of my other toys. The small size makes it easy to store and can be hidden easily.

The packaging it came with can't be used as storage. It's encased in a clear plastic so the plug is revealed, but surrounded by a cardboard that you have to tear apart to open it. Be careful while opening because there's a small manual inside. Carefully just tear the top of the cardboard, so you can slide out the information packet without ripping it, then pop the toy out.

Personal comments

I really like this plug. I was pleasantly surprised by that. I love the sensations it provides as well as the fit. I highly recommend it. My only grievance is the possible non-silicone materials. Even so, I'm so impressed with it, I'm giving it the highest rating.

In this image, I've compared it to a few other plugs, so the size can really be grasped.

Follow-up commentary
It was extremely difficult for me to choose whether I still like it or don't like it anymore. The only reason I'm choosing to say that I don't like it, is because the seam underneath the bulb separates a bit. I wouldn't make a huge hullabaloo about that if it were a vaginal toy because I'm the only one that uses it, but this is an anal toy and the fact that things can get trapped in that seam is a bit icky. This toy is a brilliant design; I love that rumbly ball inside. If it was seamless, it would be perfect and one of my favorite plugs. But, unfortunately, that is an unforgivable flaw.

Thanks guys! I think the concept of this plug is brilliant, but my follow-up is going to be a little less positive because of a tiny seam problem.
