Rump shakers small - vibrating anal plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by janemeriwether

I purchased the Rump Shaker anal vibrator because my husband and I were wanting to explore further activities in the bedroom, but anal made me nervous. A friend of mine mentioned that maybe I should try a small plug for starters.

My first impression was that it didn't look too threatening, which was comforting. I opted for a vibrating plug because I read that the vibrations help with the penetration process.
The vibration wasn't very strong, it was more of a buzz, and it wasn't very effective. It's quiet though, which is nice in situations when discretion is important.

The Rump Shaker is made of rubber and it was relatively easy to clean. I just used soap and water. Others who use special cleansers for their toys should make sure that their cleanser is compatible with rubber. It's very smooth and not very absorbent, which also makes for easy clean up.

I'd say that my biggest issue with the Rump Shaker is that the vibration is remotely controlled and, unfortunately, the remote is not wireless so you have to deal with the attached controller, which was rather bothersome when we used the Rump Shaker during sex.

Being as this was my first experience with anal play, I was really nervous. I purchased the smallest plug I could find and after all of my anxiety, I was a little disappointed. The vibration was more annoying than anything and I regret getting such a small plug. I'd compare it to going to the doctor and getting all worked up because they're going to take your blood, and you close your eyes and the next thing you know the nurse is saying "OK, all done here." I was literally like "Oh, it's in? That's it?" Don't get me wrong, though. I'm thankful that the experience left more to be desired because it opened a whole new set of doors for my husband and I.

After the initial introduction to anal, this just wasn't enough. I've graduated to bigger and better things since the rump shaker.
