I've never owned a butt plug, so shopping for this one was a little bit hard. I am fairly new to anal but really enjoy it, and I was looking for a plug to use during intercourse, masturbation and possibly for wear under my clothes.

First off, I was looking for a very safe plug that was also inexpensive and durable. I LOVE glass toys, but was pretty sure that a glass plug would not be my best first option. This plug is made of silicone, so it is incredibly easy to get and keep clean, and it has a good amount of give. The plug is actually pretty soft and squishy, but not so much as to cause problems during insertion. Just feeling the texture of the toy was reassuring to me that I made a good purchase. Also, and very fortunately, the silicone is odorless! The only thing I don't like about the white silicone is that it is white. I would have preferred another color, but white is the only color in which Orion makes this plug. The plug does have a noticeable seam in the silicone, but this was not an issue to keep clean and is barely noticeable while running a finger over it (and is consequently impossible to notice during insertion).

The size, for my first plug, was perfect. My boyfriend (and all of my anal experiences) have not been very large, so I didn't want a huge plug. The amount of taper was amazing for letting the plug slide in (with a bit of water- or oil-based lube...) and the fattest part was perfect for my body. I loved how full I felt and how well it fit in me. Another reviewer had an issue with her plug popping out, but mine definitely stay put, even in some interesting positions. The size of the neck, the collar around the neck, and the ring were a good size for me, too. I felt like the ring could have been a little smaller to be more comfortable during wear, but I would probably have felt less comfortable in terms of safety.

All in all, this is definitely a FANTASTIC first plug. My biggest complaint is (I think) only a problem for us due to the shape of our anatomy—during intercourse, if I'm riding him and have the plug in, sometimes the ring can jab him in the balls.
