This is my first glass toy. I adored the image of it, and consistently stared it down. I finally got my hands on it, and I hid it away in my drawer for a few days. This toy is made out of Pyrex glass. It was odorless and very smooth to the touch. The material added to the stimulation of my asshole and I couldn't believe how full my asshole felt. The texture is smooth, but it felt a little thick in my ass, so maybe not for beginners. Apply only a small dollop of lube, because of the super smooth texture. It'll get very slippery and hard to grip if you get generous with the lubrication. Not to really worry though, Pyrex glass is quite shatter resistant.
I didn't need a lot of lube, a couple of drops to ease the Moon Shine on in was all that was required. You can use silicone, oil and water based lubricants, though I prefer oil and silicone. My boyfriend was a traditional spit user, but thankfully we've discovered the wonders of what lube can do for anal play. No longer do I have that initial teeth-gritting Popeye the Sailor Man look, and can enjoy a smooth and passionate entrance into anal play.
It's suitable for all anal lovers, but if you're new to anal you might want a toy with some give in it.

This glass anal toy is gorgeous, so flawless and wonderfully designed. I sat there for awhile, just gazing at the intricate colors. It impressed me, how dainty this toy looks, but how different that is from the truth.
The shape of the plug is a bulky spade like shape and I loved how it was made.
The size was a bit big, at just under 4" long and a diameter of 1 5/8", but I adjusted to it. When inserted you can feel the weight of the plug, almost half a pound (7 oz.).
The size and shape of the Moon Shine make it comfortable for periods of time, but this is not an all day event. The teardrop shape was interesting, the first kind I've had like it. For me, the teardrop shape was gradual enough to allow easy insertion. The base was nicely flared, and it was large enough for me. Considering how much it weighs, I personally couldn't imagine wearing this for an extended period of time. I couldn't imagine sitting down or doing much anything else because of how heavy and rigid this felt. This might not be a good fit for "Average" users. Intermediates and above can enjoy this without much fighting.

This toy is not discreet, it's pretty obviously an anal plug. However, it's so small...I imagine packing it wouldn't take much.

I have no complaints about the toy. This is my first glass toy so I have nothing to compare it with really. I do imagine I'll be adding more glass to my collection soon. Glass is very different from jelly. Most toys I use anally are jelly and unlike glass, jelly is very bendy, very flexible and accommodating. However, on cleaning, glass takes the cake in ease and sterilization. I'm not a spaz about germs, but knowing you can sterilize this lovely item really really makes me feel ten times better about it.

Glass is extremely smooth and nonporous. Easy to clean, with soap/water or sex toy cleaner. Use condoms if sharing. Glass can be boiled for 10 minutes at a roiling boil and you're probably going to need some tongs and pot holders. It can be thrown in the dishwasher on the top shelf without detergent. Detergent can scratch and pit the surface of the toy and leave a nasty residue. You can also wipe it down with a 10% bleach and water solution. Hot water and soap are really all you need but if you're serious about making sure it's clean, there's a whole variety of ways to keep your glass squeaky clean.
I store it currently in a small pouch I received with the plug. The pouch was nothing to write home about, but it was cute and compact.
You probably wouldn't be able to get this toy into a condom because of it's size, so keep some wipes close by if you intend on passing it over, or using it vaginally.
