Pros:
Gets you good and clean for some fun Anal play.
Cons:
Bulb could be too hard to squeeze for some.

I have been using this about once a moth for a good clean out before anal play, and I'm still loving the ease of use. And its still as fun as the first time I tried it!

What is a good started toy?
-
Before using toys anally, you might want to practice with a finger, just to get yourself used to the sensation.
As for toys, it's best to start small. Something like this plug or a small dildo would work well (Eden has plenty to choose from, but these are my personal recommendations). The first anal toy I used was Flexi Felix, and while it's a wonderful toy for beginners, as the beads start very small and get larger gradually, the popping sensation that comes with removing them can be a little shocking if you aren't used to it (I loved it, hehehe!).
Go slow, use lots of lube, and if you feel pain, STOP and slow down or try again later. Anal tissues are delicate and can tear easily, so you have to be careful. You might want to try a lube shooter to help get lube up inside you more efficiently. -
Quote: What is a good started toy?I guess I can give some advice about first-time products in this specific area. I'm a big fan for life-like materials and have been using them from the start, I have to say that with enough care and hygiene there is no need for the "bacterial" paranoia you might encounter here.
So that's the list of products I'd personally recommend:
This was the first product we have bought together with my Ex-Wife, in my opinion the best start but you grow out quickly:
Blush UR3 anal starter – probe
The silicone alternative is:
Sedeux Please
To grow up I'd suggest:
Pure Skin Player jr
The silicone alternative is:
VIP Super Soft
For Butt Plugs:
The best training of all times (after you grow out of the beginners toys):
Triple Ripple
Best Butt Plug (I guess many will agree):
Ryder
And finally my personal favorite among plugs:
Gapers Organic
Generally speaking that's my product advice. For lubes you have to look for yourself what suits you more. Just don't use silicone lube on silicone toys, it really kills them. The rest as usual, hygiene, foreplay, foreplay, lube -> and plenty of fun ;)

Is this messy?
-
I am interested in buying this but I have never done an anal douche. How messy is it? Do you end up with excess water coming out?

Quote: I am interested in buying this but I have never done an anal douche. How messy is it? Do you end up with excess water coming out?Water in = water out, in my experiences. I don't have this product in particular, but I'm a supporter of anal douching. Pretty much eliminates any surprises and boosts one's confidence. As far as messy, you should be good as long as you use over a toilet. Just make sure that you leave a few minutes for all the water to work its way out.

Quote: I am interested in buying this but I have never done an anal douche. How messy is it? Do you end up with excess water coming out?In the review I touched on that issue at the end:
In total I’ve used the product 5 separate times, 4 with the thin nozzle and 1 with the ribbed nozzle; every time the thin nozzle was used there was no mess, the one time the ribbed nozzle was used water ended up ‘leaking’ everywhere. That was enough for me to decide I didn’t like it. I haven’t tried the ribbed nozzle again and I don’t really intend to, not only was it messy, but contrary to what the box said, it wasn’t very ‘pleasurable’ either.
If you're using the thin nozzle it shouldn't be too much of an issue, but the ribbed one I'd suggest using in the tub just in case.

Thank you for viewing Colt anal douche – anal kit review page!

would you say it's harder to squeeze than say a tennis ball? It's such a difficult thing to convey through words alone. I love the idea of this and have been looking for one for a short while.
Do you think it could be boiled to sterilise it or perhaps go in the dishwasher without it melting the actual bulb?
Great Review
I wouldnt say it was harder to squeeze than a tennis ball, but its rather large in the hand...which makes it harder to squeeze.
As for sterilizing it. From what I could find out, its best not to boil or put the latex bulb in the dishwasher...there is a good chance it would melt it. Soaking it in some good Hot soapy water would be the best you could do. The platic attachments however, would probably do well in the dishwasher, on the top rack (or in a basket type deal)
thanks for your help, Wasn't sure if there would be an issue with the bulb and boiling/putting in the dishwasher etc. I understand what you're saying about the squeezing now, but I guess the bulb has to be big in order to expel enough water to get the job done.
Just lastly, are you able to fully separate the hard plastic from the bulb? it's hard to tell from the photos?
I appreciate your help, thanx
